Arnold is talking at the RNC right now. Damn, AMEND THE FUCKING CONSTITUTION! I WANT THIS GUY!

Best RNC in a while so far. Arnold's speech is better then all the good parts of the DNC combined.

Bush Twins, "We had a hamster too, lets just say our's didn't make it!"

Goddamn. She's quoting Vaclav Havel. Good for her.

Damn...if they like Arnold so much why dont they just get another celebrity to run for President! Maybe God just wont allow such a powerful country to be ruled by someone who's job it is to appear pleasing in front of a camera...oh wait its already like that!

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

How often have the mods been telling him by now? Was it a dozen times already?

Excuse me, but who are you? All of 179 posts?

Stay out of it.

Claw is right, and you know it Malk. Lately, CC has been double and triple posting as hell and apparently he doesn't seem to care about any warnings. The rules apply to everyone, right? :eyebrow:

Psst, Claw, Malky is heartless.

Claw is correct though, we all have been warning you CCR, yet you continue to disregard them.

Edit: Bah! Alec, posting while I'm composing my message.

No one cares, but you and Sander.

And Sander doesn't count.
Of course not. I'm not an American, making me completely irrelevant to whatever the Republicans do, because their policies are based on not giving a shit about what the rest of the world thinks of them, as long as that world doesn't endorse "terrorism"(Registered trademark, George W. Bush, 2001-2004)(either towards the USA or Israel. The rest doesn't matter.) or has the ability to produce oil. Or when the foreigners are "celebrities:".
</typical anti-American rant>

Anyway, I'll say this again: these speeches, both from Republicans and Democrats mean jack shit to anyone who doesn't support them. They are nice to get the supporters roaring in a frenzy, but completely useless to convince anyone. Plus, I didn't hear Arnold's speech (I don't have the time, the will nor the possibility to follow the RNC for anything but the news excerpts). I did hear Laura Bush, though. Stupid woman. "Ooh, my hubbie protected us from a serious threat to American security".
Say what? Have you not read any news in the past, say, year or so? "UN Weapons inspectors say: probably no weapons"; "Commision reports: Iraq did not have WMDs"; "Commision reports: big mistakes made with intelligence"; "Commision reports: Blair left out ciritical information in reporting tot the Houser" etc. etc. etc.

CCR- member of the George Bush for God campaign.

Why am I not surprised that you are all GOP. But is it curious that they have all moderate speakers but a strong conservative platform.

Chris Matthew said it clearly- if you want to vote for a guy who supports tax breaks for the rich, who supports the division of society, and who acts internationally without thinking about it- vote Bush.

To be honest I like Arnie- he's self-made, he's successful in business, he doesn't have inherited wealth, and is fairly moderate on social values. The Constitution should be amended so that all citizens have the right to be president. Arnie would be a better president than the dipshit in the office now.

Bush- "Iraq was a catastrophic success."

Edwards- "I, like most Americans, have no idea what that means."

All the major speakers- Guilliani, Arnie and McCain- good guys, fairly moderate. It's a shame they run with a crooked party.

The point of the Republican party right now is to get more voters, so they show their most moderate speakers, and not the (scary) right-wing extremist Christians. Those Christian are usually the ones to run the party, though, and are now quite disgruntled about not having major speakers.

Of course- it's a game for the median voter- to try to get the moderates.

So the Republicans play a smear campaign against Kerry on his war record, play the moderates while going conservative- which is the republican hard core.

"What? No money for after-school programs, summer programs, teachers, maintenance, school books? Oh but you're inner city black people- so you're fucked. Why? Because we dont' have the money. It's all being spent in Iraq to support those multinationals making billions off the war."

Or

"What the air is getting worse? Oh that's too bad. But lots of companies are getting extra profit by reduced environmental standards that poison your air and water. Yes I know that the air has gotten stinkier and the water is full of mercury. But hey, the rich get richer and the poor get fucked."

That's the republican party of the last four years.

So this is all bullshit.

The choice- do you want a party that supports a rich class or a party that supports everyone else?

Do you want a leader who hesitates before going to war or a leader who came to power wanting to go to war.

Four years ago they sold George as Compassionate Conservate. Now they are selling him as a tough war leader (despite the fact that he didn't have the balls to go to war when he had the chance). Thank god they don't have another election to keep him in power or they might sell him a bozo the clown. Ooops! George has already done that himself.

George- "Iraq is a catastrophic success."

Bill Mohr- "The first two months was the preview, this is the real war."

CCR, stop double/triple posting. Use edit on the former post..
Sorry Odin. These posts where all in real time, I got a little over excited, and was planning to edit/delete my posts until Malky posted. So, in fact, it's not my fault, it's Malkavian's.

Any chance I could still do it?
