Evil Playthrough Ideas?

Some of my favourites:
  • Can you find it in your heart- blow up Frank's family (never gets old when something blows up) or convince him to commit suicide at the end
  • We are the Legion- with New Vegas Uncut Forlorn Hope gets massacred afterwards, but it's still a great quest on it's own
  • Beyond the Beef- kidnap St Claire or sell Boone, Veronica or Cass to Mortimer or murder Ted and frame Heck
  • I put a spell on you- blow up the monorail and "prank" the scapegoat by pulling a pin on his grenade
  • Lonesome Road- nuke both Long 15 and Dry Wells
  • Someone to watch over me- kill the squatters, greasers and then allow Alice to kill her mother, kill Alice and pocket the 1000 caps from her mother
  • Blowing up the BoS bunker

Yes!!! I love those someone to watch over me and the monorail pranks, those are going to be happening for sure. I'm also definitely going to nuke both sides. I did the St. Claire route w/ Beyond the Beef, I now have the lore to grab the Cannibal perk, as I understand the finer techniques of braising a human leg shank. *chef's kiss*

Also, I'm going to break the bank on a casino, probably the Tops, and then when they stop me from gambling, bust out the glock, and pull an Ocean's Eleven

I have done this in my most recent play through (lit up The Tops after killing House because they already hated me there) and there's a real lack of loot to be had at the casinos in the vanilla game. Felt kinda disappointed, even though my character was introduced to Yes Man during the whole ordeal.

In a dream New Vegas remake that exists only in the imagination, the Courier can run a heist questline with Dean Domino post-Dead Money.

Dean never survives Dead Money when I play

I would just have been satisfied it if they stocked the cashier's cage with a couple grand worth of caps and NCR money, maybe give an NPC or two on the floor a key to get in. Nothing too fancy.

I don't know the ins and outs of the game very well but would it be possible to create an evil asshole that everyone loves? The kind of guy that kills the squad they were supposed to rescue and reports back that they couldn't be saved in time? "Mojave Psycho" if you will? Not nearly as destructive as Ulysses' second string but a fun alternative way to be evil. I dabbled in it at the beginning of my playthrough but only through petty theft that didn't keep me in negative karma for long.

Using the Barter option with Dean will also cause him to turn on you later in the game because he believes you have a secret agenda. You pretty much have to play nice with Dean and follow everything he tells you to do if you want him to live.

Honestly in hindsight if you actually read the dialogue in the "bad" checks with Dean it's pretty clearly something that would rub him the wrong way if you've been paying attention to his character.

Which is something New Vegas should have had a lot more because outside of that barter check, most if not all checks are win buttons. Meaning you don't even need to read them, just pay attention if you can pass it or not.

Steal everything that's not nailed down in Mitchell house then do the same in the entire town, then side with the powder gangers and sack the entire town with them nothing feels more fucked up than seeing that guy who you saved from imminent death killing all your friends and taking your home with a bunch of escaped psychotic convicts.

1: Play a female character
2: Get a couple of relevant perks.
3: Sleep with Benny to get the platinum chip.
4: Kill Benny after using him like a piece of meat.
5: Eat him like the piece of meat he is.

Selling Arcade to Caesar is always a good evil option, especially if you add in doing an independent route to make the free New Vegas he wanted except he can never be a part of it. For extra points, make sure to start becoming his friend by lying whenever his little interactions come up before you sell him.

Make sure only Dog is left after Dead Money.

Encourage Joshua to give into his anger.
