I didn't think it was possible for this thread to get 150 pages before the 1.3 is out, but now I wouldn't be surprised if it'd make it to 200.

I'll see your possibly hypothetical Chivas and add to that an actual real paypal donation of $50 if released by February 2nd (I have 4 family free days coming then, and am replaying Fallout 2 regardless). Assuming Killap will PM me his paypal addie.

 

Just to give a you all a minor update. I spoke with Killap recently and he's still hoping for a release by the end of the year. Of course, he's not making any promises, but it sounds pretty likely to me.

My guess is: it probably won't come in time for Christmas, but hopefully it'll come in time to kick off 2010 with an extra big dose of expanded Fallout 2 goodness.

Hopefully he doesn't mind me posting this here, but I know what it's like to check these forums every day hoping for even a tiny morsel of news.

 

Hello.

I installed the restoration patch 1.2 on my german version of fallout 2, but unfortunately I met some "error"-messages during the game. Either they were in the dialogue box or I met someone and all they said to each other was "error", which caused the game to stuck.

Isn´t this patch compartible with the german version?

edit: Okay, I found the instructions about renaming the "english" order. Now I can read anything. It´s a little strange to hear them speak german and write english, though. But it´s not a problem.

Hey, just installed the 1.2 mod on my new installed fo2.
got the german language pack and installed it.
so far so good
i start the game and the first thing i see is rhe graphic bug at the intro video..
when i start a new game i´ll get as far as the " come in video" ends a memory error...
tryed so much, dont get it to work..
got windows 7, emulating wont work btw
any ideas?

Recently (can't remember when, could be even the last night) I dreamt of Killap telling me that he's been working on the RP while he was absent. This was before I saw his posts here, lol!
