You can uncheck the option(s) for Cassidy's talking head/voice during installation. I'm not sure if you can just delete some files to remove them though.

RP 2.3.2 due out shortly. And despite the backlash and blaming of the casino changes on the serious bug that got 2.3.1 pulled, it was actually the extended dance sequence at the Shark Casino that caused this. Such a minor bug too that broke so much.

Anyway, expect the real 2.3.1 (called 2.3.2) in an hour or so.
 
can't become made man (had even crashes) when trying to visit Salvatore after the last (secret transfer) quest in a desert. Speak with Mason - answers with the floating text and if try to open a door - becomes aggresive. After the transaction did some other quests - Bishops were already wasted, Mordino at first refused to give any quest, but after the secret transfer (but before collecting reward - made man of Salvatore) gave some of them. Wright's were ok :) so what's the problem?
Also noticed, that charisma dropped by 1 point (while being in New Reno, have save with 6 points, later on - only 5 :( ) - what could be the reason for that?
The charisma part is easy. When the Masticator tears off your ear you lose 1 CH permanently. No bug there.

Not sure exactly what happened with Mason and Mr Salvatore (or rather how). A flag has been set that you are done with him already and are no longer welcome. But there is another check missing which is why Mason still says the boss wants to see you, when he should be saying get lost.
You can fix it with the Fallout 2 savegame editor. Under the GVARS tab find 314:GVAR_NEW_RENO_FLAG_1 and change the value to -1071488344.

Can you check if it's possible for Gvar 313 be 3 instead of 4 while Gvar 314 is bwand 524288? It is the case in that save, but not sure if it's a bug.
When this happens Mason gives the wrong float, says the boss is waiting instead of saying the boss don't want to see you. It then makes no sense that he attacks you when you touch the door. I don't think it can happen in vanilla but maybe you added it somewhere?

Also, why was never ntLydRom - script and dialog for Lloyds room, hinting he may be in the boiler room, added? Nikki says he has a room at the Desperado for sure and the pit boss too (though I can't remember if that's been added in the RP or not).

It was added, but got lost in maps changes. Last I saw it was before 2.0, so it might have gotten lost during the map changes. Good thing you noticed now. I'll be adding it back for 2.3.2. Same with the child changes in Klamath you mentioned.
