RP 2.3.2
Quest to get back spleen :) in San Francisco. Dr. Wong agreed to give it back, so have to talk with the Dr. Fung about an operation. However his only floating response is to talk to cult doctor's - dialog isn't available to resolve the matter. Haven't joined hubologists, although took some quests from them.
How this problem happened and could be resolved?
Getting Hubologists quests means you've already joined and now you're working for them. So the only option is to make them hostile to cancel your Hubologist membership.

okay i'm using RP 2.3 and it seems that skynet can't equip any weapons... is this fixed in 2.3.2?

EDIT: Nevermind, I switched to aggressive mode and he can now equip weapons...

RareMoon - remember what killap said, your problem will be better seen at wikia http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Restoration_Project_bug_reports and i suggest you to get a server where files could stay for more time, read everything at wikia before posting. ;)

killap, just added to the bug wiki a curious issue in Broken Hills: using the detonator device from Jacob shows the message from Anna's diary and confers 100xp upon the player.

Edit: It seems that any "usable from inventory" items do this when Anna's Diary is also in inventory. This only happens the first time--subsequent times yield a message about the diary being to frail to keep handling. Using the diary itself, however, "does nothing." Maybe an inverted flag of some sort in a script?

Just added a typo (underlined right here) to the wiki when talking to Bishop after delivering Moore's briefcase--"ol' Tomcat Moore can't seem to step off his soapbox long enough to actually to do any legwork."

Edit: Added another New Reno typo in Eldridge's floating text when going back to check on his dogs.

@killap Found a typo; can you check Collecting debts from Fred quest in Den and confirm ? In dialogue box where you talking with Fred, there are two options you can choose, one being 500$ owned debt to Rebecca shown and the other to be as 200 $ debt, but to Becky ? (or vice versa.) Shouldn't both names referring to just Rebecca ?

Can not provide a savegame now since I've already passed.

found a bug but i'm currently using 2.3.

in Duppo's quest where I complete the brahmin drive sometimes I am teleported to a wagon when moving to maps which makes my character immobile and have to reload from a previous save.

still in the same quest when I encounter enemies like around 5 floaters, super mutants and centaurs the game freezes and have to open task manager to close fallout 2. is this because there's too many things going on in one map? or could be computer related issues?

when I ask Marcus what weapons he can use he has no voice. maybe a missing voice file or something?

some more questions:
1.is anyone going to make armor animations for lenny? he kinda sucks having no armor animatons while everyone else in the group looks cool. Or maybe a ghoul armor mod just like in Fallout Tactics only for him to wear and he can't wear any other armor.

2. I haven't gone to EPA yet but I want to ask if Kitsune, Cat Jules and Dex have armor animations even if just those animations from the b-team mod.

There is no voice file for it. Unless you can get Michael Dorn or someone with similar voice for the missing dialog.

I personally don't think either of them fit very well with the game, but some people seem to enjoy them, so that's why the option is there.
Same here, I stopped installing the hero appearance mod after the blonde & redhead models have been added. Its hundreds of megabytes in several thousands files are not worth of it, those new models just cannot compete with precise craftsmanship of x'il. Generic dude FTW!

I think this slot jinxer perk is way too overpowered. I don't mind the idea itself, but c'mon... I just won 7000 caps from single machine. You can buy yourself power armor after sweeping new reno alone :) how about capping maximum caps to... say 500 caps, with mean around 100. Or even better, add luck-based probability of failing permanently.
Game already had too many ways to cheat, there was no need to add more.

Edit: edited script for my game: slots break for month instead of 1 day, high rollers give 2/5 of initial money and there is a luck-based chance to fail. No more cheating.

"if (obj_is_carrying_obj_pid(dude_obj, 543)) then begin" is being used in obj_dude script instead of the normal "if (obj_pid(obj_being_used_with) == 543) then begin". Not sure what the intention was, but it's obviously not working so well.

Or you could have just avoided it.
Anyway, i don't see a problem with a specific character having a bonus on a specific point, while having malus somewhere else.

It is not like everyone could get everything without even looking for it.

That's the point, my character was not so "specific" at all. It was very easy to find and get in the EPA, without any enemy encounters in the place, I got this perk with 5 luck, very low science and other skills (except some combat skills). That's cheating, not just "bonus". I've made some calculations, based on script code. Every "low level" slot gives you about 250 caps. Yea, that's not much. But, "mid level" gives 7500 and "high level" is 15000 caps. Now, let's take Bishop's casino for example. There are 14 slots, and about 0.7 probability, that at least one of them will be "mid level". You jinx it (+7500 at very least), wait 24 hours, repeat... indefinitely.
In vanilla game such cheats was only possible with at least spending some points into gambling (I reduced that cheat too).

isnt FRP oughtto contain punk girl option when creating a female character since it was confirmed by killap in its own thread ?

Punk Girl is not completely finished - far from it, as only the leather jacket (so combat leather jacket as well) set is 100% done. Leather armor is playable with a pistol, fists and an SMG. You can still play as a Punk Girl if you unrar those files (http://www.sendspace.com/file/lz5cp1) into your 'Appearance' folder in your Fallout 2 directory. Cheers.

EDIT: Don't forget to delete or rename those blonde and redhead 3d based female models' folders into number 2 and 3 (HFR00S02, HFR00S03)

Unfortunately using the legacy high-res patch has not fixed my issues with black maps. I can reproduce the problem by installing RP 2.3.2 with the legacy high res patch option given in the installer, opening the game, and then immediately hitting command-r and opening the denbus1 map. It's totally black. No other settings have been changed and no non-default installer options were selected. This is the GOG version of Fallout 2 played on a Mac (which is a WINE-wrapped Windows version).

I'd really like to be able to play Fallout 2 with the RP…

I won't tell you what to do but, but i feel that if i max my luck and my gambling (i usually don't) i am expecting to gain shitload of money everyday. (and maybe suck in everything else). It wouldn't be a bonus, but the normal way, especially if it was intended from the beginning in the vanilla game. Also i would prefer avoid removing vanilla content. It's not our to judge what dev put in their game. We can like it or not, but choosing to remove them seems unfair for those to liked it.

At the same time, it is quite a non-issue, as the gambling aspect is a minor feature for me (If i want more quick money, real cheat is quicker than casino, and i don't see any shame to do it in a single player game) and all things added by RP largely outweight the things removed. But it brought some feelings i had with some mod i seen that pretended to fix Fallout 2 by basically removing every contents they didn't like and were canon breaking for them. (talking animals, Hakunin dreams etc...). Those features are amongs things that brought my into Fallout universe decades ago. I don't think removing them is fixing something, but more breaking it. I know it is not the intend here but breaking the wall, lampshading and WTF moments, are inherent parts of Fo2, not flaws. (i am not saying that it is what you do, but that feeling seemed prevalent in a lot mods that i've seen. If they removed so much content, what brought them in that game in the first place ?)
