Wtf!?! I hate discord even more now and I have never used it. Why was there even a chat? That sucks. Can't people just watch developers answer pre-submitted questions? Do they have to ask questions live? People who use discord are shit. It's just shit.
A pre-recorded or live roundtable put on youtube without annoying questions from the audience would have been good.

I have made 4 or 5 new friends these 2 months alone by watching movies with people on Discord. You guys are too anti social? Fine. I doubt you play games with many people in the first place going by your Steam profile and you damn sure do not talk about games here at the forum aside from Fallout judging by our always dead gaming forum. But I do and I enjoy talking to those people with audio that does not break up since Steam chat sucks balls. Discord is useful. It is not a replacement for a forum though for various reasons.
Plus you never used it? So you are just some younger old guy that is ranting at clouds? You sound like Rich!

Any gaming forum that isn't on Reddit nowadays is dead. I prefer this shitty website over Reddit anyway, the people here feel like people while the people on Reddit feel like comment bots constantly shitting their pants over their hot game take getting 2 downvotes.

Cain would never be a saving grace people think he is. I don't think he's ever taken Fallout as a serious thing to be super consistent with. Doesn't mean I think he's any worse for the series or anything but I think Josh Sawyer probably took the games more "seriously" than Avellone, Cain, and Boyarsky. I think Avellone took a lot of Fallout 3 seriously but I think at the same time he would come up with zany shit like Wanamingos just dying from a genetic clock and we won't ever see them again likely because he wasn't really wanting to use them or explain why they won't show up again. Honestly, they all take the series seriously but I think that we put way more thought into this shit than they do and they get/got paid to do it. I just don't think if we saw Cain making Fallout again we wouldn't find shit that would offend us.
Don't really know about Chris Taylor or some of the other people who did significant work on the series that no one ever fucking talks about because no one ever asks those guys the questions.
