I'm not feeling bad anymore for not putting much time into fixing google docs so I could submit my question.
That is pretty dumb, making the google docs and telling people to submit questions and then doing this.

Cain would never be a saving grace people think he is. I don't think he's ever taken Fallout as a serious thing to be super consistent with. Doesn't mean I think he's any worse for the series or anything but I think Josh Sawyer probably took the games more "seriously" than Avellone, Cain, and Boyarsky. I think Avellone took a lot of Fallout 3 seriously but I think at the same time he would come up with zany shit like Wanamingos just dying from a genetic clock and we won't ever see them again likely because he wasn't really wanting to use them or explain why they won't show up again. Honestly, they all take the series seriously but I think that we put way more thought into this shit than they do and they get/got paid to do it. I just don't think if we saw Cain making Fallout again we wouldn't find shit that would offend us.
Don't really know about Chris Taylor or some of the other people who did significant work on the series that no one ever fucking talks about because no one ever asks those guys the questions.

 

Mr Proletären put out an APB when I first posted here, needing help installing FO Nevada, a game made by our friends in the East.

This went completely past me.

But man, everyone who watched the last live stream of them playing Fo1 a few years ago already knows that there is nothing they really can answer anymore. At this point we know more about the games and the developments than the actual devs can remember.

I think the Russian?Ukranian/German modders should ask the ATOM team to release their engine code. Then instead of S.P.E.C.I.A.L
introduce P.E.L.I.C.A.N.S. N could represent neuroses.

The main character or companions would have crippling fears of say heights, swimming water, hanimals, or filthy hovels and factories.

Other companions also would have hidden talents only hinted at. Great climbers, thieves, pearl divers, holding breath for 5 minutes. Junior baseball players that can throw a grenade into a window from distance and bang people spark out with bats.
