The deal about the airplane...I can't find anything on. I swear on one of those shows about the creation of the 747 they talked about it, but I can't find it.

You're probably thinking about the Hughes H-4 Hercules aka the Spruce Goose which people didn't think could fly but the math and evidence (it did fly) will tell you otherwise.

As for the bloatfly's wings, it's fine to discuss them (fully support that) but suggesting that it's a real problem that shouldn't have happened is a bit absurd. Most people don't know or care and it's a bit ridiculous to suggest that Bethesda should have done the math. I don't see this being on the same level as Watto or exploding cars myself. That said, I agree that it was an odd choice to put one set of small wings on it.

Also, the bloat fly seems low poly for it's size but maybe this is a super close up?

Actually, depending on the picture of Watto you're looking at, the bloat fly might be a bit worse. I would grant that in a comparison of 'big-dealedness' the movie Watto's wings are certainly a more jarring and significant oversight than some soon-to-be-blood-smear giant insect fodder enemy in an over-rated action rpg. You have me there.

What really ruined it for me was the Mudcrabs on legs. I mean, it would've been a game with an OK atmosphere/setting if it wasn't for the random appearances of mudcraboids as a a monster filler (really, it's just "Hey, we should design a new type of enemy for this vault" "naaah, let's just flood it with mudcrabs"). Lazy (and ported from previous unrelated games!) creature design is a crime against Humanity.

Fuck those mudcrabs. When I play the game on PC, I'm going to hunt down every single mudcrab on the map.

Someone should definitely mod them out of the game ASAP.
