Fallout 3 is actually decent

Face it, just like Wasteland could have never been made in 1997, Fallout 1 and 2 could never be made nowadays, for many reasons. It was either change up the formula or never make one, pretty lose/lose situation for you lot if you ask me.

1) the animations suck, beth couldnt animate their way out of a paper bag

I heard the lead animator for Oblivion and Fallout 3 flunked out of his animation course twice, but you know how these rumours start.

When I read an interview with one of Bethesda's drones where they said something to the effect of, "Whoops, sorry for Oblivion's bad animations, this time we've fixed that: this time we're mo-capping it!," I knew exactly what to expect and exactly what calibre of "animator" Beth employs. Tech before talent, yeehaw.

I know other people said it already but they did Diablo 3 just like Diablo 1 and 2 what do you think about it ?

And it looks stunning in many ways, graphics, game play, world etc..

That is all well and true BUT lets not forget Diablo is still owned by it's father Blizzard. Black Isle is long gone. Bethesda had no need and no experience with that sort of system. When we think ISO lets all realize Diablo 3 will have it and understand Fallout will never again.

I like Fallout 3. VATS is a load of fun and it doesn't take a genius to play it but games should, at the end of the day, be entertaining. Bethesda does what they do relatively well. If they didn't they would not be around, right?

I sure as hell enjoy this games more than Fable 2... which is way too overhyped compared to Fallout 3. Anyone agree?!

fallout 3 i find is really fucking boring, fable 2 has its flaws, but it sets out to do what it does. Fallout 3 is just, meh.

I rather enjoyed Fable 2. Of course, I did not follow the hype at all, because back when Fable was called Project Ego, I followed that game to hell and back and Molynux slapped me in the testicles. So I was decently suprised when Fable 2 didn't suck.

Actually, Diablo 3 may not be different from its predecessors and it's still at the hands of Big Brother Blizzard, but fans are already bitching about how "cheerful" the art direction is.
