Fallout 3 makes list of most offensive video games

Unlike many similar lists produced by religious organizations, they say it's intended only as an advisory for parents buying games for their kids, not an attempt to censor or ban them They also seem to have played the games in depth, rather than just read reviews or played it for only five minutes.

I ask my self what is so offensive about Fallout 3 though. I mean ... a good dozen of games did violance, slavery and other things even sexual content a lot more detailed and still got away with it.
 
I really like the way the go about doing this. Inform, state facts... instead of going on a witch hunt about every single aspect of a game and making them sound like some demonspawn burnt on a dvd.

It's such a bad game that it's offensive to any sensble person :P

It's the Christian purist nuts, this has been around for awhile. They hate anything from the Beatles to fantasy books to anime. Can't wait to see what they proclaim "evil" next.
 
Why would you write a list about what games you can safely buy for your kids when nearly all the games are rated 17+?

Just because it's called a "game" that doesn't mean it should be handed to your eight year old.

Well Fallout 3 is one of the most offensive games for me ever though not in the way these people mean.

Don't understand why Bioshock is there, what's so offensive about it? Would put dozens of games above it.

If those guys think Fallout 3 is a offensive game, they should't even take a look at Fallout 2. Now THAT is a truly mature game. New Reno by itself would make Fallout 2 go higher than GTA 4 on the scale. And that, is AWESOME.

I think they're mostly putting current games on the list, since those are the ones kids are more likely to ask for.
 
Hmm, loved the "graphic guide" lol. Not graphic enough though.

The whole article is basically an awesome revelation on the topic "A game rated M is not for 8-year-olds".

I guess I can now understand why Beth's games are so popular. Stupidity is conquering US.

Interestingly enough, Witcher is not even on the list >__<
 
Well at least it seems that Fallout 3 is better than GTA 4, in that it runs at least! Maybe it would have been better for Rockstar to have gotten the rights to Fallout for at least we wouldn't be able to play it at all.

Why people are doing such a lists? Who are those people? Some religious fanatics which had sex only 2 times or none? Saying that games are creation of Satan/Devil/Lucifer/Bill Gates?

Not games should be put on any lists, religious fanatics should be put in the list named "Crazy freaks! Do Not Care About Them!"

You can shoot women/minorities and then proceed to hack at their dead bodies. limb from limb. The game can be quite offensive if you try to make it so.

The thing is, if those features were removed from the game no one would notice or care. It adds no value to the game whatsoever.
 
Actually i like Bill Gates...and windows when i try to use Linux i loosed more time than it was worth it...and im a lazy type so windows for me :)

Damn now i think about it if microsoft would make Fallout 3 it could be better... i just like this company its providing good and easy software...
 
gregor_y, LIVE for Windows is a pile of shit that Micro$hit forced onto people. Forcing people to get Vista just to get DirectX 10 functionality is also a cynical and shit move.

Fuck Bill Gates the hypocritical bastard: Packaging his software in third world sweatshops, then playing such a great philanthropist..give me a fucken break.
 
I got Vista for 2 years maybe little more and it dident failed me once i dident reinstall no viruses or other problems...sure some older games stoped working but dosbox works...

So i dont care about dx10...but yes i use it becouse i can run it fine on my PC...

About Bill Gates i respect him he had balls to do what he did plus brain...and about he be a philanthropist well its true and he is one of biggest if not best...so show him fucking respect i dident see apple or sony ceo to donate some money...
