Fallout 3 & Penny Arcade Comics

Ah thank you general, that is something that I was thinking of as well. Although the lower numbers might be in more of central america, 77 might be in the area of 101. I would love to see a schizophrenic on level 3 of a vault, playing around with puppets as if they were real people. Sitting around the table and eating and even having a puppet wife.

Well I find a man with a box of puppets, living in a vault for a couple of decades to be hilarious.
I don't. That's the thing about humor, it's subjective.

It can be an indication of something because bethesda actually wanted to put something funny out there. They could have simply not done it at all. And it seems that emil and tycho went back and forth coming up with ideas and since emil works for bethesda I did the math in my head.
That's a very tenuous connection, I wouldn't expect any appreciable effect from that. Shaky.

Well I used to like mst3k when I was younger, but it was really hit or miss. I don't know KFM but I read that it has monty python roots which is fine, I love those guys. As for george carlin, I think he was the last great thinker of our generation.

I am confused as to why I find this comic funny and you don't. I think I am filling in the blanks and you are seeing it as just 3 panels.

It is three panels, to be filled in by three more panels, then three more panels. They're going to spoonfeed the story to you, no need to fill in the blanks (that's reserved for what you need to do in Bethesda RPGs to imagine that your decisions and actions have any effect on the world at all). .

And MST3K started going downhill as the cast changed - season 7 or so?

I'd also like to give Mel Brooks, Tom & Jerry, Peter Sellers, Sam Kinison and the Three Stooges honorable mentions.

edit:go rip a few bong hits and watch Kentucky Fried Movie ASAP.

How dare you, Mike is at least as good a host as Joel. Season 9 & 10 were the peak. THE PEAK.

(though the show did suffer under the loss of Dr. Clayton Forrester and TV's Frank)

If you've seen Amazon Women on the Moon, it has a lot in common with KFM (some look at it as at least a spiritual successor).
And the roots actually seem close to Firesign Theatre as well.

I'm afraid you are a little off. The peak was actually reached in season 8, episode 20, SPACE MUTINY.

Oh whoops, I was using imdb for reference there and they count KTMA as a season. So yes, I meant seasons 8 & 9.

The peak being split between 820 Space Mutiny and 904 Werewolf

That was pretty funny. Vault 69 was totally worth a reference. Full of parody potential  Man, that guy must've had a helluva of a time. On the other side, Vault 68 was probrably hell beneath earth. 1 Woman, 999 Guys? Oh god... THAT'S HORRIBLE!

Hell for her.

Wurwilf?

I would actually pay to see what happened in Vault 43.
If the Panther was semi-retarded and only ate tuna casserole and mushrooms, that is...
And being liberal environmentalists, the other vault dwellers would try to re-educate the panther to eat more...naturally.
Oops.

I wonder if we (it was funny to me, so I guess that makes at least two people thought it to be worth reading) have the fortune of having a new comic every day until the release in October ?

I didn't even know that MST3K had that many seasons....excellent. Loads of hours left with E-rated movies and hilarious comments.

One every Wednesday.

There's 10 seasons + the KTMA season (but most of that is lost)

Nah, I think it would be pretty crazy: I think it would either devolve into a society where the lone woman is a queen, goddess and bitch all rolled into one and she would probrably love being so wanted by everyone. For the guys, it would be hell for generations.

Or it would turn for the worse: The men, as soon as they found out there is one chick in the Vault, they would divide into factions, raid the weapon lockers and then there would be a blast out between multiple factions of men until one group killed all the others and got the chick. Then she would probrably be raped or took by the leader. Then it would be hell for her.

Or they would wait for the radiation and then raid the surface for chicks. That would make a nice plot, by the way.

Both vaults 68 & 69 would be fucked up. I'm assuming there'd still be designated Overseer, security officer(s) etc. It could still degenerate into ugly situations if different factions argue over the one member of the opposite sex. Most likely that one member would have no say in both cases.

Speaking of ugly situations, vault 29 = Lord of the Flies? Dependant on the abilities of the ZAX AI versus 1000 15-year-old hackers!
