Fallout 3 The Pitt - First Screens

Care factor zero.

And before you vat my post Mr. Administrator, I really did try to come up with some meaningful comment. But I just can't make myself care.

I'm sorry.

Wow omg what a nice chain saw! Al these awesome gore! Yeah i like this!;] go go bethshit rangers!

Care factor zero.
same here.

Cool, Red Faction mixed with Halo!!

I dont know what to say, they will make FALLOUT 3 even more AWESOME! YEAH!

I can only hope Bethesda puts more effort into actually making a city for the game. Megaton and Rivet City weren't much of one.

I wonder if the autoaxe will be a blunt weapon.
Good one.

I give them credit for reaching their new target market, my 3yo daughter loves shiny pinwheels too.

The Pitt has 2x replay value of operation anchorage, you can join either side. Sounds excellent. I mean two sides? Choose which one!? Only thing that could make it better is having teams named red/blu(e), sentinel/scourge, terrorists/counter-terrorists.
The tyranny of choice. :ugly:

The best part about the Fallouts was the Yojimbo-esque way to side with neither faction and play them off one another.
But that would require a world that reacted to your choices and imposed consequences on you for them. That shit doesn't fly with the choco-milk crowd.
At least they've moved forward where you can't join both factions simultaneously.
Babysteps.

I can hardly wait.....if anything was wrong with F3 it was that we need more weapons & new locations (you read my ritalin addled brain beth thx RPGz 4 ever!). I'm so glad beth appear to be addressing the core problem(s) of the game. Oh and this has me super excited :
The Pitt consists of an expansive dungeon area
Oh no they didn't!!! beth incorporating dungeons? WTF. It's like they know the true heart and soul of Fallout. I am so impressed by these guys.

The crowd would take anything, but it's easier to implement simple "good" and "evil" setting than a mixture of grey like in Fallout 1.

yeah, that's kinda weird. I bet it's a new craftable weapons. I wonder if this means we can find a fully functional chainsaw which we CAN'T use as a weapon until we've attached that axe-blade to it :?
It looks more like a concrete saw with a modified blade.

how the fuck is this an axe?

exactly... it's a circle blade with gaps in it?

come on guys... this is even more retarded than i'd given Bethsoft credit for.

Not to mention the fact that those ridges would be utterly useless in the way of 'cutting' as they'd get stuck in whatever it was they were supposed to be used for, making an extremely ineffective chainsaw.

But hey - it looks cool, and that's what it's all about.. right? ...... right?

They do use segmented blades (I don't know exactly why), but obviously they wouldn't use something like that.

Gods dammit, why do they keep including cool armour?
The axe thingy is pretty stupid but the armour is snazzy.
The pitt also looks cool from what can be seen though does remind me of Gears 2.

Wow a whole new sidequest with 2 ways to go about it!? How very deep and complex.

It's just like the one I was using working on renovating one house for some dude. Cool toy...

Been There, Done That

Been There, Done That

Never had the opportunity in my misspent youth to use something this pretty,

media.nl

Husqvarna K750 Concrete saw with 14 inch diamond blade.

media.nl

Masonry Diamond Blades

but you understand that concrete saws, weed wackers, and bush hackers have been around for a while.

This "tool" barely tickles my 'cool' factor. Sorry I see a tool and a lot to clean up.

It's Demo--lition Man-z!

Beats the hell out of a 9 pound sledge ... do need a serious dust mask ... so kids use a silicates certified respirator!

B-soft adds power tool product placement to their earning pow-ah portfolio!!!!!!!

It'd be worse than that because not only would it stop the blade but it would transfer all of that rotational force into the user and either serious injure him/her or snap the blade. This weapon is second in retarded ideas/execution only to the flaming sword. If they wanted a chainsaw they should have used a chainsaw, if they wanted a hand-held circular saw then they should have used a circular saw, this is plain stupid.

I do like the look of the guy and it might just be fitting for a miner in the Fallout universe, though that mask is pretty destructive to that illusion as it looks like it's intended for military use and not mining.

Ima repeat what some of you said:

I don't care!

I havnt even finished fallout 3. Before the release I said that I might enjoy the game because I like FPS. Well, Fallout 3 and the DLC shit isnt funny at all, not as an rpg, not as an FPS. Its just plain boring.
