Fallout 3 up for AIAS awards

I wonder if Age of Decadence has budgeted for this fee already.

AoD isn't out just yet. Don't the AIAS awards concern released games only?

Wake up people, this genre is dead. The only role playing left is in porno's. You can thank us Americans for this downward spiral.

Is there any way of putting it out of its undead state?

Silver Bullet, piece of the True Cross, Holy Water?

My favorite game of all time, hands down is X-COM. I've seen what they've done with the franchise. Yet, I still only love the first and second titles. I'm sick of these assholes coming in and trying to change what works. If it fucking works don't change it.

"Shoot em in the head"

That's the only way they'll ever stay down...or the eyes, I liked shooting the enclave in the eyes...Your Armour won't save you!

Impossible, shooting game magazines 'journalists' can't be considered a crime in any country. It's a duty of every man and a great deed which is a part of protecting humanity from stupidity.

Make the world not addicted to money is one idea...

So in other words. "Shoot them in the head"! ;)

No, that's not what I meant. Killing people will get you to the prison. They will put you with some big, ugly SOB that will pet you.

The society needs to stop being so greedy and easy to control, realise that we have to grow up and we stop the money to be our leader.

Today, you need money to survive, without it you don't have a proper food, medical attention and education. Having more money, you have better life (better medical attention, education for your kids, etc).

So I wouldn't be suprised that people got paid to write those reviews and articles, it's a simple fact that we live thanks to money and we have world's crisis coming up! Third World War maybe?

I would take money if someone asked me to write a positive review about one of the worst, overhyped games I have ever played.

These Interactive Achievement Awards are distributed roughly a month from now on the D.I.C.E. Summit among developers who have paid to be eligible for them.

How much is the fee? Really now, this just sounds so stupid, you have to pay to get nominated? I wonder if the awards you get, depend on your "donating" generosity

I believe that you effectively need to be a member to get nominated, and members must pay dues (I don't remember how much, but I don't think it's exorbitant). I remember that this came out when Capcom refused to play ball with RE4. IIRC, the AIAS later claimed that Capcom could have been nominated without paying dues, but there was a lot of evidence pointing to the contrary.

And before you criticize the AIAS, you must understand that Jay Mohr doesn't work for free.
