Fallout 4 Automatron Trailer

Really? I had the same feel for the F4 trailer that I did for Skyrim. "I'm probably not going to like it" When you think about it, what did that trailer tell you? Voiced protag, a dog, before and after war, Plasticine bodies, awkward animations, war never changes, foreshadow to bad factions, baseball, generic named NPCs, overdone pan back opening, war never changes, not trying a something different other then the Ink Spots, bad color choices, 28 days later zombies, shiny blimp, evidence of no normal maps, war never changes.
I don't know, it wasn't really anything to get excited for imo, a bit too predictable and boring, just like the game.
I don't know how anyone could like that no offence to anyone who did like the trailer, like the part where Piper was moving her face in such a way that made me giggle uncontrollably while she was trying to say something serious which sounded poorly voice acted just like almost every person voice acted in the game.
The awkward animations in the game and the trailer is so awful but can be something amusing to laugh at when the game bugs out which was often when I used to play that garbage.

You can sit back and watch the world burn all you want, I'm gonna try and fix this shit - for the benefit of everyone including myself. Whereas your attitude is like "Fuck the world and everyone in it, I'm in this for me and me only." Which is the same exact majority attitude that has allowed this planet to GO TO SHIT. I don't care if I've already lost friends and family over it, I'll not sit idly by and watch these corporate cunts ruin everything we and our forefathers have sweated over caretaking for centuries millenia, all for the faux-love of fucking MONEY.

I've gone way off topic. Sorry OP. S'posed to be quacking about the awesome looking FO4 DLC.
I'm just being realistic. You want change? Don't appeal to the 12 year olds, appeal to the grown-ups who aren't doing anything. Me? I 'am' doing my part. I'm voting with my wallet and whenever some shitty thing comes up I spread it on social media and I heavily criticize it. I'm not just sitting on my lazy arse doing 'nothing'. I just fail to see the point in trying to appeal to 12 year olds who just want to have fun.

But me? I don't care about changing the triple-a industry. I don't give a shit about it. I want to watch it burn down. I want to see all of those big studios and publishers who have taken everything for granted and have mutated franchises I love into freakish abominations bloat to such proportions that they crumble underneath their own weight. I want it to die. Because then the slate will be wiped clean and maybe developers and publishers will learn through the failure of others what to do and what not to do. Maybe then IP's I love will be sold off and bought by people who actually give a shit about them. Maybe then even the gamers (including 12 year olds) will wake up and see how shit everything turned into and demand better products and communication from the devs/pubs.

That does not mean that that is my attitude for everything else in life. It's only my attitude for the triple-a gaming industry.

That ain't Fallout. Fallout died years ago. Whatever you're seeing up and around is some abomination that skinned Fallout and is wearing its skin as a suit, pretending to be who we love. I mean... Can't you smell the decay?
I cannot look at your post and you signature and picture of Hillary without fucking laughing so damn hard man. Hahahaa, dear god why? lol

Nah, that wasn't the original, I remember now, the original was a goldfish who I edited so that it didn't have edges. With the new avatar box it wouldn't work well.

So nah, I don't wanna.

Feel free to use them, but they aren't very good. :(

But it's sick... and wrong... not to mention depraved!
What's wrong with being sickly depraved?

[edit]

Oh I just thought of something. So The Mechanist is in the main game's area right? And there's gonna be all these new crazy robots running about, right? Do any of you think that the NPC's of the wasteland will actually comment on the robot invasion of the commonwealth? I mean, it seems like a bit oversight otherwise. You can't just suddenly have an army of robots running around without at least someone going like "uh.. wtf's going on?"

Well considering most of the generic NPCs only have 4 lines of dialogue anyway, assuming Bethesda will throw out the 5 dollars to get those "voice actors" to come back, I'm sure we'll get 2, maybe even 3, lines about a bunch of robots running around.

At the very least I'm hoping we can use these robots as Settlement defenses, considering how bare bones it is, but I honestly don't expect much out of this DLC. At all.

I thought this DLC might have some impact on the robots in the base game. If we know how to reconstruct robots from scratch, why can't we fix that noodle bot in Diamond City? Why wouldn't we be able to make robots specifically to work at the Galleria as salespeople or security guards, turning that place into an actual Old World mall again, like a mini New Vegas casino? Why can't we put Codsworth in a synth body like we can Curie?

But no. It doesn't affect the base game at all. Just adds entirely "new" content without adding anything to the main game whatsoever.

EDIT: According to some leaks, you can actually customize Codsworth, but you can't put him in a synth still.

Are you not a fan of the legion? Slavery? Buring people alive? I guess a photoshoped fish face is going too far, sorry :(

I try to remember that it is cut content and they are just adding it back so It should be unlocking the dialogue they already recorded, however, it is Bethesda, and Fallout 4, so I think that answers the question. (Only select NPCs will, no generics will and they account for 90%)

Based on Knights of the Nine and Dawnguard they will bring in the most over used voice in the game to comment and then the player can hear it 1500 times until he decides for his own sanity to do the quest.

No, they won't.

Oblivion: Rumors prior to DLC = Geography
Oblivion: Rumors after DLC = Prophet OMG!

Skyrim: Guard hellos prior to DLC = Snide remarks about players outfit or sixth sense to what factions and quests completed.
Skyrim: Guard hellos after DLC = Join the Dawnguard bra, is good shit.
