Fallout 4 Reviews

Come one, come all. The reviews will be coming in real soon so it's time to place your bets. Lets get some decent predictions. I'll be going off Metacritic for the main score.

I think it will get something close to 85/100. With Fallout 4 getting released so close to Witcher 3 I think the comparisons might take a few points off Fallout 4.

I wager the lowest score we will see from mainstream press is a 70. Most people will determine at the least that it is fun to play even if it is buggy and simplified.
 
I agree. I don't think the average score from reviewers (not necessarily the Metacritic score) will pass 90.
 
9 and 10/10s as the average. The cultural bar is so low that even an ant couldn't limbo dance under it.

I'm guessing definitely an average that is above 9 (out of 10), based on the scores given to Skyrim.
I'm also guessing the scores will be redicilously high for what Bethesda is going to deliver, based on the game Skyrim really is.

But we'll have to wait and see.

This game is hyped as shit, there's no way it won't have at least a 90 metacritic score.
 
Nothing under a score of 90/100, in terms of Metacritic. Maybe we'll see some 70 or 75, but the average will be around 95, I bet.

I'm going with this. Fallout dies with a thunderous applause.
 
Lowest 80, 8/10, 4/5 at most from popular critics. Any critic who gives something lower will get a lot of heat. But I can see it getting scores like 3/5 or 65/100 from lesser known ones.
 
Who's holding onto the money? I want to make sure its a reasonable third party, and, what odds are you offering?
 
So, yeah, I think you guys are underestimating the score this game is gonna get. I bet it hits a 95 metacritic, hands down. I mean really, metacritic doesn't give a fuck whether the game is what it claims to be. It will be fun, in a psychopathic murder frenzy kinda way, with great(tm) moments, and lots or dazzle and flash. No way it can lose.

Seems like a decent review from what I've seen of the game, if most of the review of this game are similar to this one there might yet be hope, but of course I wouldn't be surprised if the game got near perfect scores and unanimous praise from the mainstream press.

"It's not that the game doesn't give you things to do -- it gives you far more than anybody could reasonably expect -- it's that it doesn't really supply a consistent set of reasons to want to do those things." Pretty much hits the nail on the head
 
9's and 10's across the board, just like FO3. Metacritic will be over 90 as well. Anything lower and I'll be legit surprised.
