Fallout 4 Rumors: Trailer shown at E3?

Skyrim with guns now ...

sounds interesting.

Funny anecdote - some time ago I reinstalled Fallout 3 (I don't know why did I think that was a good idea, but whatever, anyone can have a bit of a brain fart once in a while), it ran absolutely horribly (by the way, it's been almost 5 years, since the game was released, and it still runs like shit on some PC - shows how much Beth prioritizes PCs (no, seriously, there are people, who actually think that is the case, even after Skyrim was released)). You know that before F3 was released, it wasalso called "Oblivion with guns". Funny thing is, the only thing, that seems to have helped me with constant stuttering, crashes and huge drops in FPS was one crazy bit of advice - renaming Fallout3.exe to oblivion.exe. It actually worked, I could finally play Fallout 3 again, and it was the most fun experience in the world, except maybe for every activity ever.

2015 does sound like a bit of a stretch. It seems Beth is trying to release as least one game per year with it's major franchises these past three years. I could be very, very wrong; Hell, Doom 4 could be next years major release. I doubt though that even Doom, much less Wolfenstein can be deemed a multi-million seller. I still predict Fallout 4 by next year.

A 45-minute presentation, that involved a half-minute trailer and about 2 minutes worth of information (platforms, location, release date target, and Skyrim team-related stuff, all of which has been floating on the internet in confirmed and/or debunked form for weeks-to-months) to a group of who exactly behind "closed doors" with absolutely no journalists present at a conference of video game journalists instead of at Bethesda's offices?

Right. That makes sense.

Behind closed doors I was informed that you could get Mew in the original pokemon by beating the Final Four 12times without using the pokecenter and then standing in front of the truck, opening your gameboy, and pressing left right at the same time and then up down at the same time but not left right up down at the same time, they have to be separate inputs.

Cool Eternal, I did not know this, will try it out ASAP. Seems a lot is going on behind closed doors :D . I wonder what wonderful and secret knowledge I would gain if I closed mine for a few minutes...

But I am scared a bit, what if Todd howard turns up and whispers in my ear that everything is true? Boston, Androids, Awsome stuff, 3billion endings... what if it is true, that people will believe anything that some unknow dude(ette) with unkonow sources tells em?

I guess I will leave my door open and keep up looking at twitter in case the white house blows up (again).

Wait wait wait, I heard you could surf up there, and use STR to move the truck

Any Lovin' "Ain't" Good Lovin'?

Any Lovin' "Ain't" Good Lovin'?

In this kingdom of Rumors Of Rumors, the tangential *incite* pointing to the next looming console event horizon may quicken a few pulses.

Half empty. Doom-feeders might prefer the hyperbole metaphor of "train wreak".

Half full. A possible PS4 exclusive title might be a steam punk / Arcanum wanna bee. Got a few mouse clicks from me.

And ... in true Pavlovian hind scratching, ...

The (human) nature of game industrial complex booster-ism may not be news, but still a squeaky doggie toy on which some can clean virtual teeth .

In all, aroused this hairy feed backer to bark and roll over! ;)

Just to note: I told Sander to post this. But fine. We won't do it again.

Awww c'mon BN, don't take this too seriously  . While of course devoid of any substantial information about F4, this thread still triggered some funny responses, speculations, rants and confusing comments. It even got 4too to crawl out of the woodwork :) F4 news belong here, even if they are not actually F4 news, but might be.

And it IS funny to see a rumour mill going overdrive and heading flat out for maximum attention-whoring .

'cept NMA is not know for bad news. For over 15 years now we've been delivering accurate, unbiased news reports on Fallout and related post-apocalyptic series.

Posting it while stating in the same time that source can't be 100% trusted is fine, imo.

I said "bad" news, but it's not, it's just less meaty or interesting news. I'd still like to know about these things, a little.

And Fallout 3 review round-ups.

When digesting the *Once And Future* Fallout-Fo' 13 out of 10 avalanche, any chance of 'word count' analysis pumping up an array of vector spaces into a tower of journalistic Babel?

If the virtual artiface is shaken (not stirred) will the contenders for BUZZ WORD OF POWAH fall to earth to battle for marketing supremacy?

Will Awesume! and Immersion! fade to ol' school normalcy before the onslaught of game industry self aggrandizement?

I'm not taking it too seriously, I just didn't want Sander to take blame for my call. It probably shouldn't have been posted, tho I think we've posted fairly unsubstantiated rumors before, and in this quiet period there's not a lot of harm. It looks a bit silly after WUE's great info post on New Vegas tho, heh.
