After seeing how Fallout 4 turned out I'm just sitting around waiting for the game to come out and see what another disappointment it will be and this is coming from someone who LIKES Fallout 3 as much as the (oh so good) classics.
They can't keep milking the U.S. for the series. This takes place a little over two decades after the Great War and Fallout 1 takes place in 2141, fairly recently in the post-war Fallout timeline. Between 1 and 2 nothing really happens and we do know about canonical events elsewhere in the Wasteland during these proceeding decades until the Enclave made themselfs known.
If they keep going they're going to have to steamroll over established canon. I mean, WHAT THE HELL IS ENCLAVE ARMOR EVEN DOING IN THE EAST COAST YOU FREAKING MORONS?!?!?!?!?!!?
Solution: Branch out. As in, leave the U.S. already! I wanna finally see post-war Russia rebuilding itself as the monarch-ruled empire it once was. See China going back to its roots as a dynasty-lead nation with an emperor venerated as a god but be revealed to be the ghoulified Chairman that ordered the lauching of the first nukes that began the war. I wanna see Europe having adopted a crazy art deco culture ruled by snobbish and incestuous families with the poor rebelling against their masters and us forced to take sides in backroom deals.
I also really want to be a part of a travelling Russian circus that have trained mutant animals and a six-armed girl that actually has six arms. Also, you can shag the six-armed girl because of course you can.
The conversation would go like this;
[Lady Killer] "I bet you can do a lot of things with those arms *wink* if you catch my meaning..."
