FALLOUT: A Post-Nuclear Role-Playing Game Restoration Mod

random1 Too complicated.

>Well, couldn't you make the army smaller at first?

No. It's a mutant's invasion. You can't stop it by defending all cities "manually". If you can't stop an army before it begins killing people, city will be wiped out.

@Mutant Invasion--- Some of this comes down to personal preference, I think. Game atmosphere vs realism vs originally intended gameplay vs vanilla shipped-version gameplay.

This is a silly request but, do you think you can make the RP version show up in the lower right corner of the main menu, like killap does for FO2?
At the very least it would prevent any mistake with the version number when reporting a problem, besides... it would look cool 8-)

"Mrs Stapleton's infinite respawn bug" is not a bug actually. This "fix" was removed. See readme for the details.
K. Well hey, either way I find a way to make it so players can't abuse the glitch/exploit/feature/whatever -- set the script to check if player is using Steal on her, and if so, have it call talk_to_proc. Voila! :)

I know it's just a workaround, but i'm happy with it. Beats the hell out of doing code edits or adding a bunch of crap to Hubdntwn.map

*Sduibek dances*

What?! Books can be stolen from Mrs. Stapleton?! I thought only money was shown in her 'pocket' when trying to steal... damn, gotta play Fallout again before WG/Sdui fixes her, hehehe.

lol. Yeah it's REALLY cheap. You can get infinite books that way.

Happy cheating, lol ;)

Infinite stealing is definitelly a bug. Or exploit. I was talking about infinite respawn. Stealing can be fixed.

PS And *please*, do not mix topics.

Does anyone know the difference between the exes? Fallout RP uses a modified exe -- it's extremely similar to 1.2 and 1.2.1, but has 3 sections of code that are different from both 1.2 and 1.2.1

I need to know which to use for my mod......

Second file: "C:\fallup121-EN-RC\FALLOUTW.EXE"

Ok, I have a hinch what it might be. Fallout 1 children patch (made by me :) ) comes with a special exe file. TeamX used that same file in Fallout 1 semiofficial patch.

If it has a date 10/03/98, it is from my F1 children patch and the only difference i am aware of is that children wont show up without it, even if you have all the children *.FRM's installed.

I just did finish the game and the only community survived on the wastes were the Raiders.

Seeing a completely destroyed Hub, I run to the Brotherhood, having a hope to manage some help and found it also already destroyed.

All I could do was taking all the valuable ammunition and guns from the graveyards and go to the Military Base.

It is good that the Mutants didn't care much about what's running through the ruins (giving some feeling of the hugeness and of the war dust).

The only mistake I've found was finding dead bodies behind the locked doors (while I was going to rescue the guy in the Hub or checked out what happened to Loxley's). Such door shall be destroyed or at least open. That gives me an idea that some people may have survived: met before, randomly, to be met on the wasteland: even passed out. Seeing such army coming, some may have tried to escape).

Is this mod dead, o Wasteland Ghost?
I wouldn't assume that, unless Wasteland Ghost explicitly says so. Just be patience, if she still has work planned on projects like this it'll get done, just a matter of finding the time to do it.

There's been a thread about TeamX's closure on this forum, in which Wasteland Ghost indicated that their modding times are behind them.

We could wait for a confirmation, but I take it's pretty evident WS will not be working anymore on this project.

The TeamX website has been archived.
