I am really surprised that this thread is not common anymore

I'm still tweaking my food system, as it contains certain imperfections. Eventually, I want to add cannibalism too. The way I see it, you'll need to be 'introduced' first to cannibalism (by an NPC in a quest or something). You get a special reputation perk, which enables you to harvest human flesh from your killed enemies. This could be done via a global script, otherwise I'd have to update all critter scripts (not fun).

Well, not anytime soon, that's for sure. My main project right now is MR. I'll keep you posted.
 
Doesn't that russian TC have a food and water system in it, maybe you could wait to see what you could get from that.

I'm not sure which Russian TC you're talking about? I had some files from an old Russian project which indeed had a food system, but it used the Poison stat as hunger. My system is based on a global variable, so I couldn't really borrow anything from the other one.

Besides, my system is working for the most part. I just contains some glitches or strange bugs that may be frustrating at times. For example, you have to travel unarmed (not to have anything in your active hand slot), otherwise the game will hang up on map enter. Also, using food from your hand works fine, but using it directly from the inventory has no effect. These are the two most serious bugs. There are two or three minor ones that I know already how to solve, I just need the time to sit down with the code.

That's Global Mod. We should have an Eng release soon. We have another translator on it.
