Fallout Cosplay of the Wife and I

First time out of the vault
Been lurking here for years, never had a reason to post until now really. Just wanted to show off, and hopefully others appreciate the work that went into it. If anyone has any questions concerning the cosplay or want to see more of the pipboy just let me know.

( wouldn't let me make a link ) new account.

I have always wondered where the Fallout cosplayers are, I have seen several pictures of people dressed as Fallout universe characters but I never heard of anyone here dressing up until now.

That's kinda why I posted it here, like I said been lurking here for years checking out mods and reading posts, but didn't think I had ever run across any cosplayers on here. So I figured you guys might appreciate the devotion :)

We've got plenty of cosplayers here... I'm even one of them!

SICK dude!

I really didn't know Korin.
I wouldn't mind if more posters show their own made or custom made Fallout clothes/armor and gear here on the art forum.
Has there been any decent looking T51-B Power Armor suit yet?

Mad props for creating actual costumes, that is cool.

But what has this Bethesda "fallout" garbage to do with actual Fallout?
Just looking at that pipboy makes me want to throw up. And why do cosplayers never actually "dirty" their costumes? A cleanly looking vaultsuit (not even spandex like in the true Fallouts) looks pretty cheap.

Such elitism much wow. We we're planning on dirtying up the jumpsuits, just ran out of time, that may seem like a cop-out, but my pipboy didn't show up until 16 hours before the con. So the remaining time we had left got dedicated to props. Our stimpacks were weathered pretty well, but we started on those 2 weeks before the con and had time with them. While I agree that the spandex is more in line with continuity of the original games, I think most of the internet will thank me for not going the spandex route ( with my wife maybe another story ).

The pipboy, well I had a few options with it. I didn't want to sculpt one, I don't trust my sculpting skills that well. So that left me with the 3d printing option. That being said there was really only one ready to go 3d print ready model that I found.

That being said. I have a pipboy... Do you? :)

But thanks for the kind comment at the beginning of your statement.

We went with 101. Partially because the costume was based on the Fallout 3 Armored Vault Jumpsuit Model.

Oh? I wasn't aware that sneakers are issued to all Vault personnel.

I'm only teasing; you've put time into your costumes, and it clearly shows. Well done.

I like the Nexus comment. Also, sweet boone cosplay in there. Yours is great too.

If I were to cosplay, I'd love to do a vault dweller.

Yeah I love Fallout but uh, dressing up in costumes and attending conventions like that is going just a bit far for me.

Not judging anyone else, just saying.

But like Alec said, I thought Vault Suits were skin tight and spandex-ey (or "spandex-like", whatever the proper term)?
