Fallout: Lone Star (Fallout 4 Mod)

It Wandered In From the Wastes
After playing the disaster of a game that was Fallout 4, I couldn't wait to load it with as many shitty mods as I could just to squeeze a little drop of enjoyment from it, but then I found a diamond in the rough. Introducing, Fallout: Lone Star, a mod that was originally being made for Fallout: New Vegas, but has since undergone development as a mod for Fallout 4. It will be a complete overhaul mod, and instead of Boston, the game will take place in Texas within and near El Pass (known as "The Pass"). From what I've seen, it also looks like it will bring back a version of the Reputation Systems similar to what was in Fallout: New Vegas. So, overall, I think I am more excited for this free-to-play mod than I was for the actual game of Fallout 4. I highly suggest checking out the website for this project and trying to support the developers in whatever way you can to assure that this mod will be the best it can be.

The Disciples sound eerily similar to the Institute, like if the Institute and Presper had a baby then the Disciples would be the child.
Also are they gonna include a voiced protagonist or will they mod that out?

Weren't they doing this for New Vegas? Are they scraping everything and starting over?
Yes, it was originally being developed for Fallout: New Vegas, but I'm not sure if they are necessarily scrapping it altogether in order to start over. I think they can transfer certain elements over to Fallout 4 pretty easily (music, etc.)

Hmmm, I believe I've seen this mod before - as stated above, 'developed' for NV. But I also remember there was a lot of controversy going on around it and the true intentions of its developers. Could be that I remember another mod and exchange the two with each other, but still. Skeptical about it.

If it turns out to be what it is, well good luck in painting a broken down wall.

The Creation and Gamebryo engine are relatively similar. Once they have the new GECK, we'll know for sure how plausible a transfer is.

Cool, I've heard of it. Hopefully it expands the Legion.
Nope, the game takes place around 50 years before New Vegas. The Legion wasn't even an idea yet when Lonestar took place plus the mod is set in Texas which is quite a ways away from Arizona.
