A number of developers from Black Isle Studio left to form Obsidian in 2003, and quite a few familiar faces remain to work on this title. Lead designer J.E. Sawyer was last seen - to Fallout fans - working on BIS' Fallout 3 iteration, Van Buren. Chris Avellone, designer who worked on Fallout 2 and created New Reno, is senior designer on the game. Scott Everts, (senior) technical designer on Fallout and Fallout 2, is a designer on this game.[/list]
