A lot of the previews are showing off the New Vegas screenshots we've seen before, but Kotaku is alone in showing a full weapon mods gallery. So, with thanks to Kotaku, here's a full weapon mod gallery for the 9mm pistol, hunting rifle and cowboy repeater.

You can view all released screenshots and these weapon shots in even higher resolution on Voodoo Extreme and The Vault.

Top is a Browning Hi Power (GP35), using a mix of newer and older features. The engraved model is inspired by the Renaissance models.

The lever action is pretty generic. Can't tell what it's supposed to be, but then again, I'm not an expert. Could be Winchester, Marlin or Henry. Closest being Winchester models.

The bolt action seems at least partly Winchester Model 70 inspired, but for all uses and purposes might as well be a generic Mauser action. Strange to see the bolt fluted though.

Where the fuck are the futuristic guns? Don't get me wrong this is fantastic in every way. The choice of how to modify your weapons but they should be making some new pistols rifles and automatic rifles. Take the concept of the 10mm round pistol and submachine gun and expand the library.

So, why do half of the guns look like they'd appear in a victorian-setting or steampunk-styled game? The pistol and the rifle look good, but the rest of the stuff is pretty bizarre.

The lever gun seems to be Winchester Model 1873

Better question is, where is the Fallout in here. :>

I don't like that 9mm becomes more common. Bleh.

Uh... I'm pretty sure there are more guns than these three?

They should be rare, not common, though. As time goes on, guns like this, vintage, should rust and get worn out.

I'm hoping for something new, custom-made. Or just homemade.

What is this? "Wild Wild West"? "Desperado"?
On the other hand, they seem to be nicely modeled and textured. And we'd most likely get a huge amount of other various weaponry that would fit better in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. So yeah, it's cool.

Those looks very good. I hope that we will also get more of the classic F1/2/T weapons, like Gauss guns, plasma rifle, watzz guns or good old 10mm pistol.

Because it's absolutely impossible and impropable for people in a post-nuclear setting to prefer rugged antiquated designs rather than modern, but more fragile constructions.

No sir.

That's impossible.

Retro-inspired weapons fit New Vegas' setting pretty good, I must say. BUT some classic Fallout weaponry needs to be there, too.

As for the weapons themselves, they are of very good quality, though I dislike putting in real-life weapons rip-offs.
