Fallout: New Vegas Old World Blues released on Steam

I'm not very far into it but I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would while I was in the Think Tank room, I got a bad impression there. There's a lot to explore and do, my biggest problem is how they just give you loot and perks. It's like a better written FO3 DLC.

Yeah, first thing that happens is that you get an instant boost to everything.

I thought a few of them were going to be interesting and give you penalties, but nope.

I wouldn't have minded so much if you had to just pick one of those perks, as in choosing between the brainless, heartless, and spineless perks. Just completing OWB nerfs cazadores, now they're just glorified bloatflies.

Edit: You're allowed to swap the perks out for slightly less overpowered perks at the end of the DLC, so I'm happy now.

Once again, I can not buy the DLC. Getting an error all the time. The hell, what's going on with Steam? If I would be Bethesda, I'd be pretty pissed.

I can't even gift it to myself this time.

Worked just fine for me, dunno if they already solved the error.. try again, I guess?

Tried it on a totally different computer and it worked now. Don't know whats wrong with that crap.

I got an error at first but after restarting Steam a couple of times I could finally purchase the DLC, I'm downloading/ installing right now (Very, very slow download though)

Diggin' the old 50's radio-show style of the story a whole lot. SCIENCE! Anyway, I didn't have too much time to play last night and didn't make it outside of the think tank room, so I can't say a whole lot. I was impressed by the sheer volume of text though. MCA never seems to disappoint when it comes to that. Even with this small amount of time put into it so far I already feel it's pretty signature MCA storytelling.

Damn - I'm stuck with a computer that can't run anything beyond Fallout 2. Probably, when I get to playing NV or these babies, it's all bygones :(
