Fallout New Vegas RPG

I know this is random, but because my character has been put in two RPGs now (he's exactly the same character in both), and this one is set one year later I think than the last one, I might try and include my character in RPGs that progress through time, so my character grows older if you know what I mean, then after I have done that, in the fan/fic I might tie it all up by posting a history of my character through all the RPGs he's done, but do it in a story form, like how he meets all these interesting people like David White, and the people in this one.

That is pretty solid. A character migrating and growing.

And I hope White Knight rises from the dead sometime soon because we need all hands on deck. My character is in the Gomorrah with Lt. Gonz, enjoying a shot. So lets get a bigger table and plan!!!

It will take a bit more than money and good looks to convince a serving NCR officer to join you, he'll need a purpose, or a noble cause, specially someone like Gonzalez.

Hmm, her real cause is noble, but she's not going to share that yet. Though if she can get Carib in, I'm sure the noble cause of protecting his mate might be enough. And if that doesn't do it, then there's always the fun of a random adventure for riches and glory :p

Yes, random adventures are usually the best adventures! XD

We'll play this by ear. It will be like a good episode of a TV show. We will have flavors of the week, exploring one end of another character and who knows what comes of.

Don't worry, me and Lt will figure something out, and I love method playing.

Pictures of Yas as she is in Fallout. She looks a lot more badass in profile, I can never make her look tough enough front on. Though always curvy enough. Also, I suck at drawing hands, obviously.

They aren't that great and one is just a really small sketch (not that you can tell cause they uploaded HUGE), but hopefully one day I can get photoshop again and actually colour them and fix them up. Anyway.

Now I guess we wait around for the others to reply so we can progress....

If the so called "flavor of the week" ever becomes me, I have an idea for a sub plot. The khans need my tech skills for a heist at a facility of a high tech place, like robco, general atomics, etc. And they'll do anything to get me back, be it offering me a huge amount of incentives, or trying to kill of my team mates.

That does sound like a flavor of the week. Very Good. I like. What say you, Raven?

To Raven

Nice drawing. At least you have a picture, I had to resort to poaching. Though the pics I had, came close enough to describing my character. I suppose in time, maybe you could do like a team portrait Of your lil team.

Yas' Heroes...

Sounds catchy.

I think it's a good idea :) This first part is really about getting the group together, then when they reach the location it'll kick into the second part which is Yasmin based but there is plenty of room for other characters stories, then the third bit is kind of an epic, so everyone will be able to incorperate their own stories into it.

I think with all of us working our characters into it, it'll develope into something huge and complex and very rich in character development :D

To Carib:

The thought had already taken seed in my mind. After a while, there'll definitely be a picture of all of them. Just need to wait so I can get a feel for everyone's personality/the group dynamic. Though Yasmin is in no way as hero herself, doesn't mean she can't have heroes ;)

Hmm maybe I'll draw a picture of Brad too. Too bad I completely suck at drawing hands.

If you look, not everyone (Aside from Lt. Gonz) is really an altruistic guy. Than, I am sure as time goes by everyone will be showing different sides of themselves.

Carib is a man who decided to stay and embrace his dark side for profit and to fill the void in his soul.

Gonzalez is struggling with survivor's guilt. A good man who always tries to do his best by his fellow man. But he too is at sort of a cross roads. After all he is embroiled in a war which like many NCR soldiers is becoming very personal.

Tom Searl is a man without a home or country but seeking to cool his heels down and settle.

David White is a soldier without an army or government to follow.

And we have two people affiliated with raiders. And the great thing is being a raider isn't exactly a black or white thing. For anyone who played Fallout 1 and 2, or even 3. Raiders were trash. But since Vegas, even the Khans aren't so black and white.

And like I said, everyone will open up. We may have rivalries and we may even have bonds. How we get there is anyone's guess.

And oddly enough my character is the oldest of us. So he'll have his perspectives just as everyone else does.

Well, Kelly and his "heroes" weren't much heroic either, I mean they didn't cared about winning the war, but rather about stealing the gold, and even made a deal with the germans and cut them in for an equal share. Maybe the name is more sarcasm than anything else... :)

Kind of. I am sure each person will jump on Yas' mission for whatever reason. Some adventure, some could be gold. Kind of like us getting together and doing a heist as Sierra Madre.

But I digress.

We are sort of like Kelly's Heroes. We're on to a job, if it develops from their, it does. But we live in the wastes and everyone worries about one thing:

Survival.

Well when you put it that way, it's pretty damn perfect XD

....As soon as we get banded together! *cough- hurry up the rest of you -cough*

Just a quick question, is there a possibility of this rp continuing after Raven's little epic? Just with eachothers backgrounds many opportunities for story arcs open up.

Anything is possible, Reno. In the meantime let's try to keep this one rolling.

I'll PM White Knight and let him know the rest of us are anxious to move on.

And I am ready. So lets get this show on the road. We need to get hoping and popping or this will die. So move or get left behind and catch up later.

Reno, there'll be plenty of opportunity. After this, there won't be much changed and a pretty good reason to stick with each other.
