Fallout New Vegas RPG

Hi guys, real sorry about being MIA. University is a reeeeeally demanding mistress. But I only have 2 weeks left, 6 assignments to go, so hopefully I can smash them out quickly and get back here. Get this story done within the next month. Will it have been a year? Holy crap.

Anyway, bear with me. I know it's a pain in the ass, but all my writing drive needs to go to getting my degree right now. Final semester of my third year and all. Next time I make a story it'll need to be a lot shorter and I'll need to not have any form of commitments.


Also Espionage, yes, it is. Sorry, story is almost over.
 
Heck if this ends soon we can always start a new story that continues where this ends and we can have some one else lead or we can have it be open ended and people can make large decisions as a group and/or people can have some freedoms to move people around and keep the story moving.

It might be a nice change of pace.

I think Raven has done a great job and I can't wait to see the end. She deserves a rest and to move on with her life if that is what she wants.

There can always be a new beginning on a new story that picks up after our characters part ways.

I figured our guys need some loot and an ambush would be the best way. I also like the idea of us either continuing together or doing our own stories but within the same universe. We could run into eachother randomly or just listen to eachothers exploits at the local bar and whatnot.

In regards to the ambush, how big you guys want the opfor to be? Also how do you want the ambush to happen? Feel free and any suggestion is welcome as I am sure we can all work out the suggestions and form a cohesive attack plan.

Yeah that sounds good. The only problem is that I have no idea how David's story is going to continue.
 
I don't see why a few fiends return for one reason or another to give us a little something to do, maybe one of them has my characters sniper rifle since it is apparently not in the base.

heck these fiends might have been gone for a week now and are unaware of what had befallen their base.

Hey, uh DarkCorp, don't go putting words into the mouths of other characters mm'kay? Jacob calling Eric a fag would be very out of character.

I wonder if James is going to try that on David. David being an Enclave member is more obvious due to the fact he knows alot of the old world, and uses very militaristic terms. Or maybe somebody else in the group who already knows will let it slip. Tom, for example, or Carib.

My apologies. From reading Jacobs bio, I got the idea of him being a vulgar scavenger, who happened to be old world military. Lot of machismo in the US military and most of the army guys I met in ROTC and returning vets used the word pretty frequently. Also since Jacob is enclave, he might have a pretty good disdain for chinese, or, all asians in general. Considering the timeframe, racism was rampant and and any asian could be targetted for being a chinese sympathizer. Anyways, won't happen again.

PS: If its out of character are you hinting at more personal development?

It's more like it's just not a word he'd use. He'd be much longer winded. In response to Eric's last statement for example, Jacob would probably say something like.

"And I'm supposed to put my faith in a dumbass who thinks rattling off statistics makes him a fucking tactical genius?"
Or something like that. The "cheerful" part is supposed to imply that he rarely insults people to begin with.


As for the typical Enclave mindset, I thought it was pretty obvious Jacob doesn't buy into most of that. For instance, a typical member of the Enclave would have probably puked at the sight of Pawnsy, but Jacob happens to find the ghoul overall to be pleasant. In the same regard he wouldn't have much disdain for any Asians considering the war was almost 200 years ago.

What Jacob WOULD find objectionable to is if Eric closely associates himself with the NCR, considering they're largely responsible for the Enclave's current state. He'd never outright SAY it mind you, but it would cause some issues.
 
Oh god, I haven't been here for a while, my internet has died thus I have to visit my uncles house to use the internet. I've noticed, the RP has kinda' died hasn't it.
 
Yeah, Raven kinda fell off the grid. My guess is that a combination of finishing College and Skyrim is keeping her from it.
 
Hey guys, sorry I’m such a hopeless douche at getting on here. One of my classes ran mega late and I had to put all my time and energy to write into it. But I am all finished now and free to GM again and finish this bitch. Who is still here? Just so I can get numbers for, you guessed it, the final ambush. There was actually a fair bit more action, but this has run so long, I kinda want it over with ^^;
 
Well congratulations on finishing up. I'm still here, though the next couple of weeks are gonna be a bit intensive for me, finals are coming up in a mere two weeks.
