Hey everyone, so what do you think of the new trailer?

Personally the city caught me off guard.
 
You can see the flag of the NCR at end of the trailer.

Maybe they are the new bad guys? Well, everything is better than to revive the enclave again.
My next guess because of that is, that it'll play at the westcoast again. (And yes, i know that Vegas is already at the westcoast :P)

Honestly i'm not going to blindly speculate like i did with fallout 3. I'm interested in what happens to this project to say the least.
 
Is it wrong that I'm feeling excited? Shouldn't the past have taught me something?

Also they should remove the line "war never changes". It's iconic but is becoming overused.

Nah, after checking the forums, this was the first thread i've seen about the trailer, so i posted in here. I'm sorry, i wasn't paying attention to the news.
 
Aren't you suppose to demand POWER to the people? Anyhow, not that a second thread about this would hurt anyone.

If you look closely it actually never says "New California Republic" Just "California Republic". It seems like there hiding it, but most likely it's the NCR.
 
I actually like the desert. It looks really good and (obviously) not filled with trash and shit like in Fallout 3. Also placing the time to the night was a good choice, liked that robot too (is he gravedigging? or is he burying some people?)

The only two things I don't like is the city, It's too bright and shiny for me, looks like just a normal metropol in our reality.. And the appeal of the character. He looks too "cool" for me.

You should see all the Fallout 3 fans on other forums speculating who's flag it is.
 
I can think of more interesting things that they speculate about, it's all really quite ridiculous.

They talk about how much they hope Area 51 is in the game because of the aliens in Fallout 3. :lol:
Someone said something about Ron Perlman and said "what a good way to link it to Fallout 3". :facepalm:
And they keep saying how "fucking sick" and "jawdropping" the teaser was... uhh, not really. :roll:

This might be getting close to cross-site trolling, so I'll leave it here. :wink:

I hope it doesn't got hat way, i really hated the way aliens were icnluded in F3. Area 51 was quite a bit thing in the 50's because of the Rosswell thing in 1947. I guess if they included it and did it tastefully it could be kinda cool, but it could also tun out really cheesy and not good.

Why do we have to have good guys and bad guys?
I hope things aren't that clear cut, the decisions in F3 were pretty obvious, i'd like to have to really think about what to do and be able to chose which side i'm on.

Anyway, after seeing this and everything, i'm really hyped for this, i don't know if i can last till autumn without exploding.

Actually, it does say New California Republic on the flag, it's just very hard to see in the video

The funniest one I have seen so far is a comment on YouTube saying how it is the flag of China since he thinks that the bear is a 'communist symbol'. Seriously, has this guy ever went to school? He even spelled the word Chinese wrong. Another person said it is a flag of the Tenpenny Tower. LOL

The most popular speculation for people that haven't played the first two games is how it is a new flag for the Enclave or the Brotherhood. These people should really do some research on the background story first before posting comments.

C'mon, we weren't so bad, were we? :mrgreen: I think this bear is the one, which some stupid USA children think to be a usual Moscow citizen. Yeah, some communistic bears marching around city center :twisted:
 
With the new information leaked out, I think the dude in the sand is the player and the robot is the one who will save him.

You are not a vault dweller but are given a Pip-Boy by someone who is one. You are a courier, left for dead and saved by a friendly robot.
