Fallout- Old Glory OOC

What biest said. But please do not have your character walking around in the desert and then waling in on us, please ahve him wait at the town where the funeral is happening. He must also have no knowledge of the job, or else it wouldn't make sense for him to be just sitting there waiting for the group.

I have to wonder some time where in the wasteland would people get dyes to dye hair. Natural dies are often short lived and continual dyeing would be tedious as well as carrying the supplies with you. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been over 200 years since the great war and I'm not sure most haircare products are made to last that long.

I don't really care if your character has dyed hair. :)
Just poking fun at how it would happen, yours isn't the only character I've seen with dyed hair and it just had me wondering how. Oh reality you always muck everything up. lol

Edit: another note, how are all these people getting around. I mean traveling on foot from D.C. to the Mojave to Texas would take forever. There are no cars as far as I know and horses are extinct or scarce and vertiberds are certainly not a dime a dozen. How would this be possible. O_o
I mean on foot wouldn't it take months to travel from one place to another? Anybody have any answers for that? I'm genuinely curious.

Edit2: What should we do next in the RP? I don't think I have any more for my character to say for them moment. So we are currently hiking down the dusty trail I guess.

It took Jacob about two years to get from Chicago to the Mojave, and roughly another two to get to the far side of California from the Mojave, then back through on the way to Texas where he is now. So about four years in total he's been traveling since leaving Chicago, and he's still not very far on the return trip.

It took David a year to get from one coast to another, but he was escaping from adams air force base, and probably using a vehicle or something for part of the journey. As for the RP, tomorrow I will post our entrance to the town. Rick Garcia (who has been accepted despite the blue hair :P) will meet us there.

Easy: fast travel ;D It takes seconds for us.

We could stop for rest and like have camp set out so there's time for guy-to-guy convos :)

Thing would probably take less time when a character is in flight, in comparison to literally stopping in every town along the way to investigate possibilities, or stopping to poke through ruins, or whatever.

Aww man, this seems kinda dead, unless someone else has a post.

I'm pretty much always here, but I don't know about the others. Some of them probably have started school again, like me, but unlike me, they can't find the time to go on here. I might start a new RP, but I'm probably going to wait until the next release of the next Fallout game, which will probably cause a rise in activity with all the new members posting. It's quite a while, but I'm willing to wait, seeing how long I've waited already.

Ok apparently I can't keep my promises. :(
I got a new computer and had a heck of a time recovering and transfering my old info. The username and password for this site got lost at some point in transit and I have the worst memory ever. So that's the main reason I've been gone so long. I'll try to get caught up on the story and get back in to the RP as soon as I am able.
