Fallout Sonora 1.15 and Dayglow 1.15 English Release​


This is is a full, up to date release of Fallout Sonora, in English. All files, from the 1.15 Russian release, excluding comments in the included script source files, have been converted to English. The main language of the game is now English, though the original Russian is provided as a selectable option. The original Russian release, and the Dayglow DLC have been combined into one.

Additional content for the English release includes expanded and fixed quests, via 100+ script improvements. There have been some other small fixes to maps and music. Additionally, the end game slideshow has some new and 'improved' visuals. Finally, the all relevant graphics and interface files have been included for a widescreen version for use with Fallout FISSION.

Determine the version that is best for you:
  1. Fallout-Sonora.dmg is for macOS users.
  2. Fallout_Sonora.zip is for Windows and other OS users (linux, etc.)

Install Instructions for Fallout Sonora on MacOS​

Version 1.05​

  1. Download the Fallout Sonora .dmg (found Here)
  2. Open the .dmg and drag the Fallout Sonora app to your Applications folder
  3. Click on the application to play. (you will have to adjust your security settings because the app is ‘unsigned’)


Install Instructions for Fallout Sonora on Windows​

Version 1.05​

  1. Download the Fallout Sonora .zip (found Here)
  2. Unzip the .zip file to the location of your choice. This is the ‘Install’ folder.
  3. Within the unzipped ‘Install’ folder, select and unzip the Fallout Sonora exe .zip file for your system (Windows x64, Windows x32, etc.)
  4. Place the contents of the unzipped Fallout Sonora exe .zip file into your Install folder.
  5. Click the exe to play
Note - Other OSs (Linux, Android, iOS etc) are not tested, and unsupported, and may not work.
 
I decided on a new thread - as this release marks a change from 'translation' to a full 'English' version of the game.

This release wraps up all the Nevada Band releases, and my translations/additons/fixes, into a single, 'English' game. I hope it can serve as a base for Sonora specific mods from English fans/players/modders. Or just to be enjoyed along side the Fallout 1 and 2.

It was a bit of an ordeal pulling all this together - so many files, so many steps, so many hiccups. Please do forgive any bug/issues which are *certainly* going to arise. I will do my best to fix them asap. The build process for all this is multi-stepped, and error-prone, so, please understand.
