Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Sonora

What version of the game are you using? Are you running it with Sonora.exe, Fallout2.exe, sFall, or Fallout 2 CE? 1.15 added a '3d' targeting image for power armor. Maybe something is amiss there?

I just tested and I get a crash too.

Testing a little more, and it seems it might be weapon specific, rather than the target.

Seems to be specific to 1.15, and to, so far, guns targetting humanoids (power armor or not)

Thanks for responding. I'm running with Sonora.exe. I was using unarmed to attack. I was running version 1.14. But if you also got a crash then maybe it's not because of the version then. I just get the crash when I target power armor guys, no matter what weapon I use. It gives the "instruction referenced memory" crash thing when it tries going into the targeting image.

I think the crashes I was getting had to do with another aspect of my testing environment, so let's ignore them.

So regarding yours, I'm not sure what help I can give you. I can only run macOS versions of Fallout 2 CE. I would suggest trying Fallout 2 CE (windows version) and Fallout 2.exe and see if you get the same crash. It could be something to do with Sonora.exe. Also, are you seeing a power armor 3d target, or a large humanoid?

No sweat! Well done wrapping it up!

Could you DM me with the link for the walkthrough, I’d like to check it out?

EDIT: I looked for Sonora mod walkthroughs on a few search engines, but I've come up empty-handed on my pursuit. Closest thing to that is the mod's wiki, which is helpful, but I don't think comparing it with, let's say Per J. walkthrough, would be a fair comparison.
Yes, that's what I'm referring to. The Wiki. It's not a real walkthrough, but most quests are listed and give a good overview, I think. I'm sometimes a bit puzzled about what the actual quest is and how to proceed.
