Fallout Tattoo?

First time out of the vault
Am I the first one who got a fallout-inspired tattoo?

If I had me a steady job I'd be posting my own fallout tattoo. Just gotta get the cash together to get one.

The thrill is temporary - the pain is forever. I couldn't image wearing a comic on my body until the day I die. But each to their own.

As much as I worship Fallout, tattoos are stupid.

Agreed. And the people who have them always come up with these completely asinine explanations as to why they got them. Like: "this fish represents my struggle with cancer and these two flowers here are my sons". Right. I don't see it, but hey: whatever, man.

Maybe tattoos are for stupid people. Like people who tend to forget things (like struggling with cancer and having two sons) and they use their body as a giant Post-It note or something.

Unfortunately for me, I have actually given myself numerous small tattoos on my hands/fingers from cleaning old steel pen nibs full of Indian ink and getting them stuck in my flesh. :( They remind me to buy modern drawing tools.

As for a Fallout tattoo, I'd never go any further than maybe have a small Vault Boy on my arm. Rather something small and iconic than a whole bloody canvas.

I hate tattoos. You're paying to be scarred.

You'r gonna' regret it when you have to explain your gaming inspired Tatoo mid-sex.

Heh, I never understood that. Its a bit like modern art 'oh this sandwich symbolizes the rift between man and nature'. I always thought that art should speak for itself, and shouldn't require an explanation. Like Bach and Michelangelo. Not that I want to compare this specific tattoo with them.

For what it is worth, I like it Mad. Tattoos in general I find quite fascinating. The only time I really judge someone for a tattoo is when it is clearly a rushed afterthought and what they got had no symbolic personal attathcment as to why they got it. If something is dear enough to you to have it etched onto your body, all the power to you.

There are two I am looking into getting at the moment. One is a variation of one of the Evil Dead poster covers. Sorta like this one although mine is going to be more portrait and not as cartoony.

The second is going to be a pretty straight translation of some classic Misfits art.

The one I have saw in person of that one had the womans face modeled after Marilyn Monroe and it turned out extremely well. Again, more real to life and less cartoony.

I like it...

I allways wanted to get some wierd nerdy Tattoos... But i somehow never actually did it, not because i was scared of something.

I wanted to get a Tattoo of the Star Trek Terran Empire.
-but then i had no money for ages.
etc

I don't even like tattoos like this for myself, but this is a pretty hillarious quote, if one stretches it to other art forms (tattoos just being one of them) and goes all the way to posts you made before.

I love it, kudos to you my friend. It's truly epic.I'm planning to soon get Ouroboros up on my left shoulder.

As for the 12 year olds and conservatards who don't like it, here, have a go with this pogo.

I guess I like it, though I'd never do something like that.
I'm pretty much with alec on this one - I don't get tatoos exactly, be it just some artwork, girlfriend's name or some symbol that should represent something to you.

But I won't judge - important thing is that you like it.
