Favorite comic publisher

I like Marvel's comics which doesn't contain this kinda bullshit:

What I love about Marvel is that they got this big universe with tons of storylines and characters where you can pick and choose which kind you want to read. If I dislike something it isn't the end of a series, I can just jump on another series or read an older one (currently reading Secret Invasion). But my enjoyment of Marvel has begun to decline as this kinda bullshit I just posted happens occasionally and the constant crossover events get tiresome. Still, I'd say it's my favorite of them as not every series is shit, just gotta find the good ones.

I never cared for DC. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. And I've never read any Dark Horse or Vertigo comics.

Other than that, I only read The Walking Dead, which is Image. Any good comics from Image I should check out?

I too love Marvel, but I wish they would just give us good comics as opposed to just trying to be 'LOOK WE'RE PROGRESSIVE'

As someone who is progressive, I don't feel challenged, I just feel pandered.
I always say if you want to be political, then do it in a way that looks at both sides and challenges the reader.

I used to like marvel to. It's really sad seeing them slowly spiral into a sjw cesspool.

If you want to read some good image comics here's some recommendations.

-1 invincible. It was created by Robert kirkmen(guy who made walking dead). It's a pretty good supphero book with a good amount of character development and personality.

-2 chew. If your tired of reading superhero comics and want to read something new i definitely recommend this book. It's set in a world where the consumption of chicken is illegal, and any one who is caught selling it is considered a criminal. This of course leads to the creation of chicken speakeasies, which leads to the creation of a chicken consumption task force. This is a just really fun and unique read i highly recommend it.

I just got back from reading the first few issues in the new Ms Marvel run.

Honestly, it's not too bad, maybe it's because there was already about 20 issues prior that I haven't read, but the Muslim thing is treated somewhat well, I appreciate the fact they got a Muslim woman from New Jersey to write about a Muslim teenager in New Jersey.

It does suffer from a lot of issues however;
Hydra's master plan was them getting u to real Estate and brain washing people.
The new Ms Marvel herself is kind of whiny.
A small sub plot which took up about three pages went nowhere (I'm hoping they bring this up again).

But I did like the drama and why it means to be a famous super hero.

But yeah, the whole plot is insanely stupid, but it at least it didn't feel like pandering. (There was a lesbian couple, but they were just there, seen once and mentioned once).

Also, I recently finished off reading Dragonball after a year and 42 volumes.

Yeah, talk about someone who can't write for shit.
I find Dragonball extremely stupid, it just has good action (really good action).
But yeah, the story is dumb.

The Wonder Woman image is from DC Comics, so I guess they also have some of that bullshit around.
I haven't read a comic book since the 90's, if Marvel and DC have this stuff now, I am glad I haven't read comics for 20 years or so...
