Favorite weapon(s)

Honestly, I usually use-
Hunting rifle
shotgun-
automatic rifle
sniper rifle
turbo plasma rifle.

Love the turbo plasma.

But I have come to appreciate grenades, the ripper and the powerfist.
 
FO1:
Alien Blaster!!
Flamethrower is fun too.

FO2:
Flamethrower is still the funnest to use, especially if it's Lynette that's dancing around on fire (although I still do prefer to plant explosives on her and just casually walk away while nobody does anything and nothing is affected in the game whatsoever)
M72 Gauss, Gauss Pistol
Rocket Launcher is fun to use in random encounters, when all of the enemies are neatly placed together in a v-shape.
Laser rifle EC, I LOVE that sound they make when they slice in half!
And my all time favorite, the TPR.

FOT:
Sniper rifle, because it looks so much better than the one in original Fallouts (looked just like the damn Laser rifle and is not very practical looking at all, and the stupid stripes on the front end, ugh)
 
FO1 - 14mm pistol (the sound it made was so satisfying, especially when you knocked someone down with it)

FO2 - Hmm.. probably the super sledge (I loved sending someone sprawling 14 hexes into a wall)

-Combat Shotgun

-.44 Magnum

I like unarmed fighting. Strong Kick or Punch in Fallout 2, or just "Unarmed" in Fallout.

From actual weapons I liked lots'a stuff. Assault Rifle, Desert Eagle...

Id probably choose the Extended Mag Assault Rifle for the beggining and middle parts of the game, and then a Bozar or the Gauss Rifle in the ending parts of the game. That rare BB Gun is also very good at some points.

I cleared out the whole Vault 15 out of those raiders without much problems with it. :)

I rather use the Bonus rate of fire, having 6 of agility and implementing some chems, like buffout and psycho, then aim the Gauss Rifle to the eyes twice in the same turn. Not even the Bozar can beat that, at least in my experience. Tell me if I am wrong, but try it out first if you haven't!

What a bullshit :D

Bozar with proper perks (Bonus Rate Of Fire, Action Boy, Bonus Ranged Damage x2, Better Critcals, Action Boy x2, Living Anatomy, Sniper...) can take down 4 aliens in just but a one burst having enough AP to shoot another and reload =) I remember when i killed 6 Fire Geckos in one burst or went 9500 crit on a Hubologist. It can kill 9 people when they are standing in a straight line so Gauss Rifle doesnt even come close to this =) Sure rifle is more efficient cuz it does decent dmg with just one bullet but it just gets eaten by Bozar.

Playing with Bozar with properly build high level char is like deploying nuclear warhead - just standing in the middle of Navarro Base with a smirk on face firing bursts (1 or 2 Power Armor soldiers lying on back / burst) :twisted: taking 1 dmg per Enclave Soldier attack (10 with critical). True poetry =)

BTW: Bozar skin was taken from a certain model of Barret sniper rifle =)

I used:
FO1- the 10mm SMG, all the way until I get the plasma rifle.

FO2- the 10mm SMG, then HK P90c, until I get the Bozar.

FOT- the best Shot gun at the time, until I get enough energy batteries to cleanse the wastes.

But what was my favourite weapon, .223 Pistol,for the sound of it.

FO1:

.223 Pistol (Deathclaw scourge if you can aim good enough)

FO2:

Super Sledge ':violent:' - I usually kill whole Navarro crew with this gavel (supported by occasional G11E shots). It is fun to see heavily armored guys flying away and hitting walls.

And of course, the most rusty shotgun available is a weapon for real men....
