Like the replicant in Blade Runner i saw too many wonderfull things to be able to put on a list. So this is just what pops into my mind right now:
Favorite movies: there`s a thread somewhere with an huge list of them, i`ll leave Once Upon a Time in America by Sergio Leone, Citizen Kane by Orson Wells, both versions of Blade Runner , Hana-Bi by Kitano and Madadayo by Kurosawa for now.
Oh i almost forgot about Casablanca, silly me.
Books: strangely only one, and it´s a short story, not a book, called Patriotism, by Yukio Mishima.
Tv series: probably Brideshead Revisited
but there are too many to fit in here, Monty Python`s, Black Adder, Twin Peaks, Babilon5, the old Twilight Zone, The Singing Detective, etc.

Who would have thought guiness would draw so much attention.
No, what I meant is this. Here they have these draught cans with a nitrogen thing. You pop the can, the nitrogen goes off, and the beer is like if it came off tap.
ANd it's very tasty. I admit, I am not keen on Guinness from the bottle, but the draught can is quite nice.
BUT No, never drink it from the can. Pour it out into a nice glass, so you can see the bubbles do their fancy guiness trick, and then enjoy it.
Delicious.
ANd budwiser is piss-
Look, Budwiser, Miller, Strohs, most beers that dominate most national markets are your basic pilsner, a decent, watery yellowish beer, nice when cold, delightful to taste but nothing extraordinary. Basically, they do all taste the same- although I kind of Like Brahma from Brazil over Antarctica. Budwiser is a bit more watery than others. If you want a good Pilsner go to Europe. I prefer a Kolsch to an average Pilsner. But if you want to drink a good beer, try at least an ale. I mean really, Killian's Red is a better beer than Bud and just a little more expensive.
Budwise, the beer you drink in 12 packs quick if you want to get shitfaced and don't care about taste. Really.

No, i get budweiser when its a special occasion. If we wanna get fucked up for quick and cheap and we don't care the taste we'll get PBR, Ice House, Milwaulkees best, Bucsh, Natural Ice, or Keystone.

I'm retired from Milwaulkees Best. it was my drink of chioce dring my short stint in college, but I feel I don't have to subjugate myself to that anymore.
Also, we don't buy Bud in 12 packs. Always better to go for the case.

When I was up in Penn, we did Genesee- the beer and the ale. Cheap, but christ, does it leave a bad hangover.
Best hangover- I was in Salzburg Austria studying and they have this brewery there called Augustina Brau. Fucking excellent. YOu but these 1 liter ceramic steins of some of the sweetest brew for like 2 bucks. Huge beer garten with all these old guys getting smashed because they get this great discount.
We'd go there after exams and get seriously fucked up and crawl half way home.
But the beauty of this stuff was that it was like so pure. I mean you couldn't keep it in the fringe because it would just go flat.
Because it was so pure you'd wake up massively dehydrated but no headache.
When in Salzburg- for some excellent classical music- don't miss the Augustina Brau Garten.
