Final Death Knell?

It appears Titus is gone, according to this article in Gamekult. Which would also mean the end for Interplay, here's a rough Translation:
It is the end of the adventure for Titus Interactive . The commercial court of Meaux pronounced Monday the bankruptcy of the French editor and his subsidiary companies, Sofra Jeux (edition) and Avalon France (in the past Virgin Interactive, distribution). Interplay , the held American subsidiary company with 62,25%, is also liquidated. Placed in legal rectification on June 7, these companies had profited from a grace period until February 7, 2005. But the court decided to put an end to this deferment before the expiry: the total liability of the Titus group exceeded the 100 million euros for a sales turnover fallen to less than 20 million euros, and losses evaluated to 103 million euros in 2003. Founded in 1985, Titus knew its hours of glory at the end of the Eighties, beginning of the Nineties, with the plays of the series Crazy Cars and Prehistorik Man
Could this finally, finally, FINALLY be the end of the company we all love to hate??

Update: The guys at Raging Bull forums posted another annoucement:

Basicly it says they will be liquidated.

Wondering of the Belleriuminians have read this tasty little tidbit?

So much for their "hopes on Interplay to provide FUnding." *

* Thanks to Saint P for the FU in FUnding reference.

So, no more Titus, no more IPLY. Finally the 'we'll keep on going, and going, and going' mentality has broken down. It was getting old.

Edit: I corrected your news post Pope, guess I'm a neat freak.

So if IPLY is dead, what will happen with the Fallout license? Did Bethesda put in any plans for a situation like this ?

Well it depends on what IPLY set in the contract, so I'm not assuming anything. It would be nice to clarify these issues, another question would be... Does Bethesda now own the rights to an MMO Fallout ?

Yet another company run by the Caen boys crumbles into dust.

Who is the next foolish sod that will let these bozos play CEO?

Hmmm, amazing. Majorem is blinsided, after all of those helpful people pointing out what those morons claimed to have already known.

We're still waiting for a confirmation of this item as posted by you, however in the meantime I can reassure that even in the case that Interplay liquidates as well, Ballerium is as safe as it was (or, as unsafe as it was, depending your point of view).

There are two ways to read this. Nothing was signed, or the scam is continuing as planned, as the fellow suggested. That would sound like something the Caen brothers would do.

What can I do but laugh and laugh and laugh. And I was sooo looking forward Ballerium. Mwuhahaha.

It`s more than chapter 11, it´s liquidation pure and simple, wich means something more has to be announced in the next days, if i remember how things work in France, meaning what creditors get what, what pending actions remain, etc. Still i`m not sure on how this sfects Interplay, giving the way stocks changed hands in the last two years, i need to make a few mails first.
