First Game you remeber playing

Well, the first game I ever remember playing was Descent on my dad's 2 color lap top. Boy, those where the days. I was in Kindergarden. By first grade, I had bought my first computer, an 85 mhz Acer, and with it, a collection of games, the only two which remain being Command something, a turn based WW2 game, and, Darklands which I did not understand at the time but would, within the decade be one of my favorites of all time.

I also remember a 2D action game where you flew a futuresque airplane or starship. It was really cool. Any suggestions as to what this may be?

However, one of my most memorable times was in 2nd Grade. My father's computer at work was alot better then our current one, so one weekend my dad invited me to install a few games on his computer. So, I took Command Aces of the Deep. At the time I had just watched Das Boot, and had an obsession with U-Boats, so the fact that it did not work on my Acer drove me to his office.

I just started playing it again. Damn, this game is great - http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=2567

My first computer games were on a Macintosh: Mac Bugs (top-down shooter), Sargon 3 (chess) and Reversi.

My first PC was a 486 33MHz with 4Mb of RAM and a 120Mb harddisk; I should have started with Pirates, but it didn't work so I took it back to the shop and got Prince of 'Frustration' Persia instead. I had hours of fun with MS Flight Simulator 5.0 - though I wasn't very good at flying, it was fun using the instruments to plot one's position on the maps (much more amusing than the modern GPS) -. I then moved on to RAC Lombard Rally and started reading PCGamer UK.

That weird racing/highway game on the Intellivision. LONG LONG time ago.

My first PC game was Space Quest by Sierra Online, anybody remember that one.

probably rampage on the atari. On the pc it was either the shareware version of wacky wheels (?), Test drive 3 or commander keen.

Asteriods, in an arcade, because it was the fucking Stone Age and we didn't have no fancy home computers then. :D

First game evah: Super Mario Bros 1 & Duck Hunt

PC: Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

I played Indiana Jones and Fate of Atlantis or something like that. I don't remember exact title. of course on my old, good Amiga.
