I've got a save where I've just arrived in Klamath that I start with these days - it took me quite a while to settle on my character, and now I'm too set in my ways to change it, so that save works for me.
One day I'll grow a brain and get all excited and play a totally different character, then I'll have to put up with getting pissed off with the Temple of Trials all over again, but for now I'll settle for the save...
(Until my machine decides to blow up again, of course...)
