FOT: Drug-addicting bots

    If you've been playing Fallout Tactics and have accomplished Peoria mission, you'll noticed that automated turrets can be whacked by chem overdose (Jet... ooops Afterburner gum, Psycho, and Buffout pills can break them when applied to, Mentats can overdose those machines too but you need about 7 boxes. my best attempts were 4 Afterburners AND 4 Buffouts) just like any human being! This instance isn't likely to happen in other Fallout games. if these narcotics can whack robots, so should alchohols, supposed that these drugs either short-circuited its circuit board or clogged its moving parts.

    1. so apart of brainbots. Do all of these turrets controlled by brains (wired directly to it)
    2. If not. how do these turrets affected by narcotics but not by any boozes?

    I think you read too much into it. Isn't it just a stupid oversight?
    Or maybe a "hidden joke", remember jet is just fumes. How would mere fumes destroy a robot? Chewing gums, and mentat pills, it seems very silly that they actually, seriously considered that you could destroy a robot by sticking gum to it
