France allys with China against Taiwan.

From what I seen, I think the business types are more in favor of pan-Blue, as they promised to become closer to China, establish direct links, and therefore profit from China's growth.

Although Chen is a supporter of Taiwan independance, he is smart enough not to risk war with China. The problem is that China still refuses to talk to him. I'm a big proponent of free trade, but I don't know Chen's position on it.
 
They do that because they think they can get away with it.

Some of them don't have the same political sensitivity since there hasn't been anything of the sort that has happened in Taiwan. I mean, what do some of these idiots know about terroists? :roll:

It doesn't really matter, because it just shows the people how they really are. Stupidity will eventually be seen as stupidity.

The younger generation of business type that I've talk to tend to be pan-green, esp. those that had lived outside for long periods of time.

Btw, it's "Lunch Club", not Lunch Party. Sorry about getting the names mixed up.
