Freeware games about murdering people.

Corex Command - a neat worms-like game, that involves bunker building, underground tunneling, gold mining, and aerial combat.

 any game that is reminiscent of worms is my kind of game!

I remember getting the tank in that game and just spending an hour destroying everything, the carnage in this game is unrivalled, even by the sequels

They also made all the top down GTA's on a box set called "The Collectors Edition" a while back. It is not free... but is really cheap. I think I paid like $9.99 and it came out only 2 days prior if I recall correctly. It has the original, London, and GTA2.

Yeah, but there's really no reason to get it...GTA has been essentially freeware for some time, GTA 2 is, now, and London is a little expansion for the first one, which is not as good as the second.

Just download it.

Anyway, great idea with this thread- someone at Something Awful will post that NMA users want to kill people because they're in bad moods... And then someone will write about it on his blog.

It wouldn't hurt you to think sometimes, Sorrow.

Isn't playing violent games when one is in bad mood, like a general custom amongst gamers?

But you're from NMA, you rabid fan you.
And since I posted link to Madness I guess I'm teh evil one too.

Aren't most FPS games about murdering people? That's what the government tells me.

You're not listening to the government properly. As it stands now, all games are about murdering people, excepting Sponge Bob Square Pants and My Little Pony games. Soon Wii Boxing will be rated M for encouraging violence amongst youths.

You combine "person" and "shooter", and expect WHAT exactly? :D

Actually Wii Boxing would have a lot more potential to encourage violence in youths than Postal or GTA, because Box is socially acceptable and there are very few repressions put on physical fights among kids.

Well its not freeware but try getting Postal or Postal 2 with mods. It explains rather well term "Going Postal".
