Gaddafi hates being alive, threatens Europe.

I am tensed to see from where he will get all the men to invade europe.

He's doing a great job of invading europe so far: all the refugees flee his regime to Europe.

reminds me to that Iraqi propaganda minster (or what ever he was) talking about a win and how everything was great while Bagdhdad was bombed to hell.

Anyway. I bet Gadafi is pretty happy now that he stoped his nuclear weapon programm centuries ago.

I think you guys already rattling the swords and knifes is a bit "wrong". Even though it is obvious that, even if such an "invasion" would happen he would not win, still people die. I don't think this is very cool or worth to provoke/make fun of it.

I'm more inclined to wonder where he'll get the boats for said soldiers. Unless he wants to attack either Algeria, Tunisia or Egypt first.

Praise Allah I hope he gets put down soon.

This prick has been alive and oppressing people for far too long.

Firstly Arabs were against him, but now most of them support him against NATO. Deal with Americans is like a deal with the devil - NATO went to Libia and started throwing bombs, killing hundreds of civillians and endamaging much more the people and the country than Gaddafi does. And also, if he falls they must pay a good price of petrol to the "liberators" :) Fault by Libians...

In other Libyan news, the US has recognized the Libyan rebels as the actual authority, via Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

From the BBC

The BBC said:
"The United States views the Gaddafi regime as no longer having any legitimate authority in Libya," Mrs Clinton said.

"And so I am announcing today that, until an interim authority is in place, the United States will recognise the TNC [Transitional National Council] as the legitimate governing authority for Libya, and we will deal with it on that basis."

So now the USA has the power to decide who rules in another country?

Well, yeah, at least as far as U.S. policy goes. Every government has the power to determine which power groups/regimes they choose to recognize as legitimate authorities and which they don't. As a matter of fact, regarding the Libyan Republic, nearly 30 other countries have made the exact same declaration.

Yes, it is true that a government can decide not consider the government of another country as the group with authority (just like my government did with the last military coup in Honduras). I also understand that it was not only the USA but around 30 more countries as well. However, it seems the important news were that the USA don't consider Gaddafi as the ruler.

I am personally against the USA being our parameter to decide who are good and who are bad. I mean, they already decide which groups are "terrorist" ones and which groups aren't. Letting them decide for us who is government in each country is just too much.
