Jesse Heinig said:Meaning no offense, but if it is in fact actually a wasteland of nothing but lifeless craters, then there is nothing with which to conduct dialog, plot, or roleplaying, unless you want to do an abstract existential experience with the character talking to him/herself and to various hallucinations. Since A Mind Forever Voyaging wasn't exactly a huge seller, that is probably not a very viable development direction.
hehe yeah you could spend your time just looking at your screensaver instead.
or your washing machine.
but on the other hand, i remember spending hours in fallout 3, running around the wasteland, exhausted from endlessly shooting at stupid raiders, mutants, robots, animals, looking desperately for someone to talk to, exploring tunnel after tunnel, ruin after ruin, yearning to hear some words more interesting than "got water?", "need any bullets?", "i'll kill you", and "git me some metal scraps", some structured language. then getting disappointed and returning to speak with Moira.
major existential experience.
then i reloaded planescape:torment and went to the brothel of intellectual lusts to blow off some steam.
