There are some romance quests, including that one with the "romantically lesbian asexual" (yes, that's how she actually identifies herself) pajeeta companion. The issue is that every time it comes up the player is supposed to act as a wingman/cupid who matches other people up with no motivation of his/her own to do that. And the romances are all gay and cringe as hell. The fuckers even added in a dialog option to hit on Parvatti just so she can reject you and hence you you have to be an even bigger cuck if you want to continue her stupid questline. I also remember there being some other quest later on about some girl wanting you to pass a little love message to a boy who is shy and it is the gayest shit I have ever seen in my whole life.
Like I said, I don't really care if they are ugly or not. The issue is the fact that they are all literally butch lesbians. Why is every single woman in the future a dyke? It's not about prettiness vs ugliness, it's about the fact they're trying to wash femininity and masculinity away because they clearly had an agenda that they wanted to push. All of the women in this game are masculine and in positions of power. It is also filled with effeminate and insecure man. The extremely few male characters that are masculine, aggressive and in positions of power are portrayed as stupid or evil (or, more often, both). One example of such is the leader of the Iconoclasts, which is a full no-nonsense guy who came to the logical conclusion that since the corpos are evil as fuck, they should all be exterminated to the last. His position might appear logical to anyone who had been paying any attention to the story up to that point, but since Outer Worlds was apparently written by retards, they decided that fully dethroning the giga-evil mega corporations that are corrupt and incompetent to the core would actually be a bad thing for some contrived reasons, hence the macho guy who wants to just kill them all and be done with it is an irrational extremist and must be deposed by the female second-in-command if you want to see the "actual" good ending for that planet.
