Haha. Throughout the day I was reminded it was April 1st. Yet when I came to your website, I had forgotten. My jaw dropped and I thought to myself "why?" then I sat back in my chair and my eyes met with the post date and I realized my buffoonery. I then yelled "You bastards!". Man... I had been watching this site for years, and it is truly a heart break to see it close. But alas, it was a great run and you all have been great people. The Mods, the patches... and the moments will live on in our hearts....

The board didn't reset, it was COMPLETELY DESTROYED. So the username Per was simply no longer registered

Allow me to change your nick in to the proper nick for you

Thanks! I feel a bit silly now - I assumed since it said I didn't have the proper password that the nick was registered, either because someone has swiped it after the board wipe or because the user records were off somehow. If you try the "forgot my password" thing it just says you're not using the right email, there's no hint the account isn't there at all.

(That was another interesting moment just now, going over to the gameplay forum while you changed my nick, noticing I wasn't logged in any more, trying to log in and being told I couldn't. "Not again!!!")
