Has the Nobel Peace Prize gone completely insane?

Murdoch, did you read the above posts before wanting to make us look like fools? Sometimes I wonder what you think, you're complicated. Talking about pigeonholing huh? I didn't want to take any side here before you began to pretend your king of the boards. I just quoted someone about science. I never said "Science SUXXOR!" or something retarded like that.

I'm not the one who makes people look like fools, PS. They take care of that on their own.

My statement was to the effect that you took Einstein's quote out of context. Which you did. Taking quotes out of context is something that you do when you want to slander someone, among other things. I'm not saying you were slandering, but it could be interpreted that way. And the slander doesn't have to be directed at the person who made the quote either. Take Gore's remarks about inventing the internet for example. He never stated he invented the internet, only that a bill he sponsored helped fund the beginnings of the internet. See how that can be taken out of context and used to his detriment?

Also, about nukes, you can only say that since there wasn't a WW3. Sure, they have saved lives by preventing war because of MAD, but that could change real quick, and almost did. Cuban Missile Crisis anyone?

You're right, sort of, not really. The fact is that the world could have ended in a cataclysmic fireball. But it didn't. Are are still here, and better off because of fission. And I could throw the same unprovable argument back at you by saying that without fission a massive global conventional war could've erupted and destroyed humanity just as completely.

Murdoch, how did I take that statement out of context. We were talking about the Nobel peace prize right? And Nobel and dynamite? Technology? I just quoted Einstein, and said nothing further.
