Hearts of Iron 2 has arrived

There's about 80 divisions on there now, that was just one of four transport fleets of the first wave.

I seem to have annexed my home country. :!:

I tried Invading the Americas through Labrador, but I still had a problem with my supply convoys, so I only got about as far as Quebec before I got bored and just let the clock reach 1948.

After the Soviets sued for peace, and were divided between me and Japan they ended up invading China and dividing it up between themselves and the Mongolians. By the end of the game they were still the 2nd greatest military power in the world.

I took the Azores from Portugal and then I took Bermuda before the invasion to create a supply line. Also, I build about 150 convoy escorts beforehand as well. Oddly enough, the Canadians would just not give up Labrador. After three or four attempts to take it from the 5 infantry divisions the Canadians had on there it finally took 4 divisions of tanks and 8 divisions of infantry, as well as 8 more divisions of infantry amphibious assaulting to take it. :?

See, I tried creating a supply chain across Iceland and Greenland, but I still had problems.

I might be having no supply problems because I own the North Atlantic and North sea with 2 Fleets of 15 Destroyers and 8 fleets of 10 Submarines.

Dn't ever let the AI handle your supply issues. Set it to form conveys, but not maintain them, then manually pump up the number of transports operating on the big important routes: If you are supplying your panzers, infantry and airforce in NA over the atlantic, make damn sure to have hundreds of transports making the trip each day. Just making the convoy 'operate' is not enough, the number of transports running it must be roughly proportional to the number of divisions supplied. More are needed per tank/hard unit, air unit, etc.

And the manpower fix can be found here Brady
