cant find my Diablo 1 box, but:

Diablo II says "An epic game of role-playing action & adventure". that's pretty acceptable i'd say.

Diablo II Lord of Destruction says "Expansion to the world's best-selling action RPG". that's borderline... but at least they say action RPG...
 
Although not a true RPG, Diablo 2 was a fun game, to me. I enjoyed it a lot. Diablo 1, I also found very enjoyable.

Hellgate: London, I found very disappointing.

It is just boring?

It is hard to describe the unfun-ness of it really.

I guess the hype is what ruined it for me.

I thought it was going to be so much more than it ended up being.

sadly this game reminded me of Dungeon Lords. In way too many ways. I'm trading it in tomorrow.
 
Played the demo, it didn't impress me all that much. I am admittedly not what you guys might see as a true cRPG player, but even I thought it was 'meh'. I am usually pretty easy to please, too. Hence my stupidly large collection of FPS games.
 
Fuck Hellgate and make a Diablo 3. I know this is off topic but I hate Blizzard sometimes. They wait years to release the games I want and then half the time they are disappointing. I liked Warcraft 3,but it didn't top 2 IMO. Hellgate is just another mmo clone that wants to milk money by offering paying consumers goodies. Fuck them. and while Im at it fuck Microsoft just because.
