Help choose a game for me

First time out of the vault
the only games ive ever played and finished was fallout 2.
I have fallout out 1 but besides that i cant play any other game, for example:

I play gta and i just end up killing people and stealing cars running around doing stupid things, ive never done 1 mission.

Played hitman nice concept, but i cant be bothered sneaking around. Done 1 level.

C&Cs are ok but get repetative and boring.

1st person shooters are ok but all seem the same with different bad guys/monsters/guns. I liked counterstrike alot when it was popular.

You get the idea, there is so many cool games, i like computer games, i watch my brother play alot of games and it looks fun/interesting etc.. but when i start playing i stop after 10 minutes.

I played summoner on ps2 , that was ok.. so i think besides sports game i could like RPG's aslong as they arent too gay. I also enjoyed police quest swat, but that was 4 levels.

Looking at gothic 3 , looks ok but seems like it has too many bugs/issues.

I like to kill things, i dont like to HAVE to do something a certain way everytime to get further, i like experiance points, i dont care about multiplayer or online. I like Tarantino movies, as a little kid i liked bionic commando and wonderboy. I also liked secret of evermore on snes (LoL might help..)

Can anyone reccomend some games that i will like for atleast a few hours maybe even more :lol: thanks.
 
Cant go wrong with those two. I'd also throw in -

Planescape: Torment
KotOR 1&2


or, if you dont mind really old games

Erm, BG, Torment and KotOR are bad suggestions for someone with a severe lack of attention span. SS2 and DX seem like the best fits so far.

Actually, i would say EXACTLY the same thing, if i hadnt seen two of my mates who not only dislike RPG's, but also cant be bothered to sit down with one game for a long time, just get sucked into both of these. Literally. So he might as well give them a shot. :)

..like 1-2 years old or brand new? (that would be in store)

Neverwinter Nights is one of those exceedingly rare games that has a lot to offer virtually everyone, even if they aren't already into RPGs

I suggest "Fork in the electric contact", "Lawnmower haircut" or "Toaster in the bathtub".
 
Well, that's what I would have said: Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura.

Any good? Are you kidding me? Arcanum pwns Fallout any day, any place, any mood.

Order it, purchase it, steal it, whatever. Just make sure you play it.

Also: Animal Crossing. Wild World for the DS. It's like a game you can play for 30 minutes a day (limited attention span) without the chance of getting killed (evar!). W00t!
 
I would recommend some Ritalin first then maybe check out Arcanum very close to fallout like experience only less interesting environment in my opinion. Try out Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines great game you can play a few times over. The story line and the environment t are awesome. If you’re a Tarantino fan you should love it, speaking of which there is a Reservoir Dogs game out but i hear its shit .
 
OK everyone i made a purchase today..

I saw a box set called ULTIMATE Dungeons & Dragons
Contains 8 games and 17 cds.

neverwinter nights + 2 add ons
dragonshard
baldurs gate + add on
baldurs gate 2 + add on
demon stone
icewind dale + add on
icewind dale 2
temple of elemental evil

it was marked at $99.95 australian dollars , so i thought 8 games might aswell i should like one...
Got to the register the lady scanned the box and it came up as $24.95 !!
thats right, so even if everything sucks, i wont care..
8 games 17cds for $24.95!!!

I own none of those games and I do want to buy Baldur's Gate and Temple of Elemental Evil. Thanks for showing me that.

Unfortunatedly, there's only one game worth playing in that pack : BG2.
