Maybe you guys can help me with this one. It was a game for the NES. Side-scroller, war themed, where Player 1 controlled a Tank(or jeep? It was a ground vehicle...) and Player 2 controlled an helicopter. It was coop against hordes of enemy vehicles and planes. I played a lot this one with my brother when I was a kid.

There is this game, i played when i was 8 years old. it was a first person adventure game kinda like Myst (or it might actually be Myst, i didint played much).
From what i remember you where in a old mine of some sort, it was night but the thing i recall the most it that there was this blue opera/theater mask that talked to you through a "magic book" (or it was a futuristic pager
