How will the BoS be involved in FO3?

Actually if FO3 just happen 10 years after FO2, the BoS will still be around but in even lower numbers.

If its 80 years later, you should only be looking at old men on their dying bed.

Again how could it be that the FOT did not happened? I read this, and like so comments on it.
This is the history of the BOS
http://www.stgfc.com/pnp/BOS_Source.pdf

This is just a sourcebook for a fan-made Fallout PnP RPG. And both Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel contain numerous contradictions to established Fallout canon, therefore it is best to simply ignore them.

As for Vertibird plans, we actually do not know whether BoS got them or not. The Chosen One might have given them to the Shi or to none at all.

One of the things I liked about Van Buren is that their Brotherhood of Steel was based on the Steel Plague FO1 ending and finally destroyed the NCR.

Hey, the Steel Plague could be a terror extension of the Brotherhood of Steel... Circle of Steel was that sort of deravative.

But I was wondering about the BOS, as in Fallout 2 they had a vague involvement in the workings of Fallout.

Yeah, the Steel Plague plunged the world into darkness.

And Enclave survivors basically got absorbed into NCR... Some I can imagine becoming mercs, or even warlords.

Wonder whatever happened to Sgt. granite and EC team.

I think you're jumping to conclusions there, Ausir

The Steel Plague took over a big chunk of the Wasteland to rule with an iron fist and in doing so destroyed the NCR in its infancy.

The Van Buren BoS had some kind of conflict with NCR and is at war with it. The purports of this conflict are unknown though. Calling them Steel Plague is calling them evil, which might not be fair

True. They did destroy most of NCR, though, IIRC. Unless I'm wrong, Hoover Dam and its surroundings is the only thing left of NCR in VB.

I think that al-though that the name of the Brotherhood of Steel has been whores in cheap ass peices of noob on the console they cannot be "Removed" - Fallout is not Fallout without the Brotherhood - possibly a war between the two factions of the Brotherhood.

Fallout Tactics was not a bad dream - perhaps the concept was a bit noobeh, and the gameplay a bit weak, It provided many hours of great happiness on the net wether it were RPG or "10k".

It formed the basis for the modern Fallout Communities and Clans, which in my opinion one thing that Fallout 3 should adopt from Fallout Tactics - MULTIPLayers mode - a game is not a game without a multiplayer mode - with the warring clans and rogues

"a game is not a game without a multiplayer mode"???

i don't know about you, but i generally loathe multiplayer gaming and in a game like fallout, it should be the LAST thing considered. more should be spent on making a great single-player campaign first.

my $.02

Which would make it not a Fallout game. Fallout is about the lone warrior, exploring and facing the wastes, with little help from others.
Yes, there were a few companions in Fallout....but you could never control them, and that's because the game was made to revolve around the main character, again the lone warrior.
